WOW, i was expecting to like the green one better...but i don't! The new one is sooooooo nice, and looks like it would be WAY more expensive. Check out the sample, and if you love the quality, get it!! Its cheaper and wont take as long! SCORE!

i really like the new one. I would just agree with the others and see if they can overnight you the sample so you can see the quality.

They are both beautiful, honestly go with the gold ones they are nice, you can get them sooner and you will save alot of money. Once you get your invitations it is still going to take you time to mail them out so your best bet is to go sooner. The green ones are breath-taking I cant lie but the gold ones are a great comparison.

Good luck!

I love them both, but if the boxed invite is on the less expensive side and more reasonable on time, I would do them. They are still great invitations!
I'm not sure if this was asked, but if its boxed, it means you are mailing them like that? Is that going to cost more? Just curious?

They are both beautiful, but I had the same thought. Mailing the boxed one will probably be way moe expensive, so you might not end up saving yourself money in the long run.

This is way too matchy matchy...But there is a Paloma Blance gown that has that a sash very similiar to the one on your invite!

well i calculated how much it will cost... I remember another LIW bride did boxed invites and went by that price and i still save a little bit in the end. Bc with these invites i save close to $400 and with the other invites i would have gotten postage with those too so i did all the calculations and i save about $200-300

Either one is gorgeous, but my advice, after sending away for a gazillion samples, is DO NOT order anything until you have a physical sample of it in your hands. It doesn't have to have your wording of course, but just so you can feel the paper, see the ink, etc. You have no idea how many invites I saw online that I fell in love with and was convinced they'd be gorgeous in person and they were awful....and you and I have talked about paper quality and stuff so I know you know what I mean. If you love the boxed one more, and you get a physical sample and still love it, then go for it!

Out of curiousity, how are boxed invites addressed? Would you just have Wendy address a shipping label nicely or do you put the box inside a padded envelope?? How does it work?

good question lol, i wonder if she can do it on the box...im going to check what the other LIW bride did with her boxed invites, i think she also had calligraphy. I didnt even think of a padded envelope

still a great choice and presentation. Good Luck on whatever you decided.

is the boxed one going to be more money to mail out?

Also, i think 4 weeks is a long time for invites, especially since your wedding is in three months.

I say if your second guessing your first choice, then you're not all that crazy about it. If you like the boxed one and it is cheaper by $2 per invite you'll be saving a ton of money... I think I like the boxed one better. Much nicer presentation.

no im not second guessing it, it was the whole not seeing the invite in person part that made me nervous. But she said if i need them in such a rush she can email me the proof to save time if i want, so this way i can place the order this week. But i emailed her and asked to mail me a sample with any wording and after that the proofs can be done via email.

Well if the calligraphy can be done on the box, she'll find a way. When she did my envelopes she sent me one envelope of mine showing one name written out in all the different markers she has so i could see how she chose the one she ended up using. Depending on the paper type (or in your case box type) some of them bled or showed up darker or lighter than others. But liked that she showed me how they all looked on my envelope paper and how she chose.

yeah the green ones would take 4 months...its a lady who custom makes all the invitations herself. I spoke to her on the phone several times and very sweet lady, and tried to help me and was honest and said i would love to guarantee it in 3 weeks but i dont want to promise something that wont happen and you waiting around and said realistically she will have them to me in 4 weeks including the delivery time.

yeah its more to mail out but i still save in the end a little bit. i said 2 dollars but its actually a difference of $2.76 to be exactly and the green invites were a bit heavy too, the pocket fold was thick and im guessing with the rhinestone buckle that i couldnt use a regular envelope for that either.
