another invitation question

ok ive been going crazy trying to decide what to do. I've emailed numerous invitation companies to see who can do the same invite and how long it would take. WEll i saw another invite I like alot and i emailed the person and they can expedite the order for me for $30 which is fine, and get it to me quickly. She said since i am so short on time she can email me the proof instead of waiting for her to mail it to me. Should i take this chance, i mean the invite looks gorgeous. Or should i go with the green ones i like and wait the 4 weeks. I know sounds like it should be easy but i keep second guessing myself. The new one i found is also a little over two dollars less than the green ones so i save money, another reason why it should be an easier decision but i have issues lately lol

Sometimes i need voice of reasoning hahaha

here is new invite i found, they are boxed invitations

I'll probably have to wait until the morning for answers, i just noticed what time it was lol



and here is the green invite that would take about 4 weeks

I say the green invite. The postage on the box invites will be a ton.....no?

ETA: What you'll save on the invite, you'll make up for it in postage....thats what I meant...?

they did say 2 weeks but i haven't even ordered them yet - I'm going to call at 9 am tomorrow when they open.

so i guess i'm dumb but I don't get how boxed invites are diffferent? is the invite in a box, on a box, or something like that?


well good luck, you should get it in time though if she said 2 weeks, gives you enough time to send out

The invite is in a box instead of in an envelope. So the invite itself with the ribbon and everything will be placed inside the box and mailed that way. If you look at the first pic you can see how the invite is set inside the box.


okay. so the preshus smurf invite you posted - was that the outside of the box, and then you open the box and there is the invite inside? i'm just trying to picture this - I've never seen it and it sounds interesting.

i still save even with the postage on the boxed invite bc i save $2.76 on each invite and postage for boxed is about $2, but even with the green ones it was heavy, the pocket fold wasnt regular cardstock it was thick and heavy, kind of like a book cover, plus with the rhinestones i just might've had to put them in a box too or some padded type envelope i guess so it wouldnt be regular postage even with the green invites.

yes the picture is of the outside of the box with the address, then when you open the box the invitation is in there.

yes the picture is of the outside of the box with the address, then when you open the box the invitation is in there.


very cool. I like anything that's different. i also really love the colors on the boxed ones... richer looking than the green. the green ones will come in mid to late March? I guess that might be cutting it too close? what was your RSVP date going to be (assuming you got them sooner then 4 weeks).

i say go with the boxed ones unless the sample is crappy.

In that case, if you still save $$ and the proof is good, I'd go with the boxed invite. Its an impressive look.

yeah at first i thought i was going to save more but then i remembered postage haha, still saving but not as much as i originally though. I cant wait until this is over with, i want to be an rsvp stalker
