Another quest. does everyone go to see their

doctor every two weeks in the 3rd trimester?
My doctor told me two weeks ago ok - now you come see me every two weeks - but last night I read in a book that doctors will ask to see you every two weeks for special cases - I don't think I am a special case - so far I have had a very normal pregnancy - Is the book wrong?

I saw my doc every 4 weeks till 28 weeks then every 3 till 34 then every 2 till 38 then weekly till birth

I can't believe how quickly I seem to be forgetting the details but I remember that it was every 4 weeks then every 2 weeks towards the last month or so and then every week. When I was overdue, I was at the doctor on a Thursday and my next appt was for the following Monday but I had Luke early that Monday morning so it never came to pass. The 2 week visits are normal.
