Well she and I were talking about going to the movies with our DH's and stuff, don't know how it came up, but I mentioned how I never buy my own drink, we just buy a HUGE soda and share it. You see I never finish my drink anyway and DH always ends up drinking it so it is easier if we share. Well she thought it was the most disgusting thing ever. I have also talked to other people who say they also get their own drinks.
I think their is nothing wrong either way, just want to know what you guys do?

I don't drink soda, but Todd and I do the very same thing.. I NEVER order my own beverage (unless it's an alcoholic bev.)

Yup, we definitely share our soda and just about everything else! I couldn't finish an entire one if I tried .. and its a ripoff to begin with at the movies.
FH is the ONLY person I share a 'straw' with, though. I will admit I lean towards being a germ-phobe and won't share a drink with my g'friends or other relatives ... that is just a bit YUCKY to me for some reason. But my friends/family are the same way, so its all good
And this is coming from the girl who used to share lipsticks and eyeliner with her g'friends in junior high .. time have changed!!

I am a germ phobe too...(i know it's weird) and I don't drink out of anyone's glasses....not DH, not even my Mom....
Everyone thinks I'm soooo anal about it - but it's just the way I am....I can't help it - I get grossed out at the mere thought.
I have heard all the arguments 'you can kiss him, but you can't drink out of his glass??' blah blah blah....
I wish it didn't bother me, but it does....lol!
