any girls plan on just polishing your own nails? i'm talking no tips...no wraps, no nothing....just your straight up nail.
i havent had nails in yearrrrsss..i hate them and i dont want to put them in because then i have to keep them for our HM also.
im just afraid the polish might chip if its just on my nail.
anyone keeping their own or past brides...if you did this..how did it hold up?

I am not planning to have tips. Ive never had tips in my life. My real nails grow pretty long. Since I've never had tips before I don't want to be worried on my wedding day about one breaking or falling off, or trying to re-learn how to use my hands. I'm just going to make sure I keep ym hands always manicured in the months before the wedding so my nails are long and strong for the day of.

I don't like tips. I also dotn like the way french looks on my nails. So i did a very simple manicure w/ essie color called 'adore-a-ball'. Pics in album (wedding band)

i've never had tips in my life, so I plan on keeping my real nails for the wedding...if they end up chipping on the HM maybe I'll get a nice manicure at the spa ahh

I definitely don't want tips in case one gets chipped or something on the HM. So, I'll probably just french mani my own and pray for the best.

gel manicure?
My nail salon does this it is special polish by OPI and it can last up to three weeks.
I just do weekly manicures, im not planning on getting any tips

Real nails! I don't like tips (I also did it for years) but I think they look so fake... real nails all the way!

I have never had fake nails, so I just had a manicure and the polish was fine. It was only on our honeymoon, when I had been in the pool for a few days, that they polish started to chip.

Unfortunately have to keep my own because I'm really allergic to crazy glue and basically every other kind of nail glue. Makes my skin peel! That would be the last thing I needed on my wedding day!

I've never had fake nails, tips, gels, acrylics, wraps...these words are so foreign to me - I have no clue what they mean or what they're for.
So, yes. I'll just be getting a mani on my regular ol' nails.

I recently stopped biting my nails since having braces and they look great! I'm defintely going to keep my real nails for our wedding.
