february vacation - 10 days we already live together so its not a matter of moving or getting situated I dont think married life will be much different than we are now - just legal and KIDS!!!!

I am a teacher. I am getting married in March. I plan on honeymooning during the break for spring.. or july or august.

I was working as a teacher in Region 4 in Queens. But because of the family situation I had to resign. I had planned to get married the Friday after passover so I had the whole week to get everything done. We had planned to take a 3 day vacation (1 or 2 days off of work) and long honeymoon in the summer. But now that I resigned (will probably go back after the wedding), we moved the date til November 29th (which is still a holiday weekend) If i do teach when I am getting married, we will take the honeymoon during Christmas break.

Yeah, Thanks. I'm in the process of getting a part time position where I worked before teaching. So hopefully that will work out so I can start getting some money.

i work for east meadow school district on long island.
i'm hoping for a july 3rd wedding and honeymoon right from there. i wasn't sure how other teachers do their HM. i really didn't want to take time off b/w wedding and HM

I'm a teacher (Region 7) and we're getting married in June, during the school year. I teach high school, and June is really pretty stress-free by the 2nd week - it's finals week, then Regents week, then 'we pay you full salary to come in every day even though the students aren't in attendance and you just do crossword puzzles all day' week. So I'll get married then, and go on the honeymoon 4 or 5 weeks later in July. FH is really into this plan, because the way he sees it, this way when the wedding is over we don't have the depressing down time - we have 'planning for the honeymoon exciting time' or something.
