FH and I stayed at Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana. Decently priced. We had a blast! he got sick first night---BUT his stomach is sensitive and he gets sick on EVERY vacation. We had a butler suite-no children, private pool... I highly recommend it!
DR is great...i would recommend excellence (no kids!!) or paradisus or paradisus palma real....they just opened the hard rock hotel, brand new great casinos...something to think about...and you cant beat the price in DR....!!! love it!!!!
One of my best friends, getting married 3 weeks before me, is going to DR for their HM. They are staying at the RIU Palace.
