Anyone doing or did Pre-Cana?
We're scheduled to do Pre-Cana this Sat/Sun 9-4 at St. John's in West Islip. It's a loooong time to sit in a room talking about marriage and spirituality. Has anyone attended? What should I expect?

Re: Anyone doing or did Pre-Cana?
We did it in November. They have some speakers come in and talk about communication. There were several really good ones! One was horrible, she talked about natural family planning. They break for lunch both days. We got lucky and they let us go at 2pm both days! They also will go over the FOCCUS test you did online.

Anyone doing or did Pre-Cana?
We did our weekend in November too and loved it! Two really long days (I think ours was 8:30 AM- 9 PM Saturday and 8:30 AM-4 PM Sunday) and a lot of writing, but it really helped FH and I open up to each other. We really, really enjoyed it! The couples give little presentations and then you split up and respond in writing to questions regarding the presentations and then get back together with your fiance to privately discuss your responses. We were never put on the spot or made to feel awkward at all.Welcome New Vendors
