Moving out of NY after their wedding??? I'm moving to NJ and even though I'll be in Hudson county (only an hour and a half away) I freak out sometimes.....It's not that i'm getting married....i'd do that tomorrow if i could....so what....wouldn't have a limo...and it would be a tuesday wedding .....last night i was just thinking.....i only know 1 or 2 ways to get home....if there was an emergency i don't know how to get to any of the hospitals (ya...i'm a nurse too lol) and the most ridiculous part.....WHAT IF I DON'T MAKE ANY FRIENDS?????????????? I've been trying to get to know my way around, but it's just sooooooooooo different from where I live....my dad and my cousin works in NYC....guess we'll be meeting up for lunch!! haha

we were thinking about it...but we are eventually gonna get his parents house so we are gonna move into the basement fr the time being....not crazy about that but its much cheaper than an apartment and no way can we afford a house!

I’m moving to Stockholm, Sweden after the wedding…so really quite nervous about the job and friends bit…plus difficulties with the language too!

I've been in PA for a year and a half, and my only friends are FH's.
I didn't like anyone at my old job enough to actually hang out with them, and my complex is full of people who haven't yet gained a command of the English language, or, my special neighbors.

yes we want out!! we might go out west-AZ or NV. We have some family there but its not the same, most of the family we are close to are here. We havent even begun to look for jobs/houses. Just makes me so nervous

we're not moving- but i can totally identify with being scared to move- i moved here from new jersey for college- jersey is a great place to live- get involved on your town council, talk to your neighbors and join local clubs- they have a lot of those in jersey- but most important- buy yourself a GPS- its soooo easy to get lost in jersey! but dont worry, you'll be fine- you have your FH and you'll meet people at work.

yeah...i mean i go to NJ allllll the time....sometimes 2x in a week and i stay there so much.....but it's weird to think i'm going to LIVE there....i'm such a new yawka.....idk......all you JC/newport girls can come to my house...errr...apartment....for lunch!!

We have talked about moving off of LI after we get married. FH wants to move to Jersey or Arizona. I would prefer Arizona. We shall see what the future brings........

ok i'm going to stop complaining now!!!! there are people moving out of the country So we will have to make a 'relocated '08ers board' after our weddings and we can all KIT :)

we are staying on LI...pretty much our entire family is here so eventhough you can get more for your money somewhere else, in the end it wouldnt be worth ir for us if we did not have our family there...plus, FH and I love our jobs here

i work in jersey city but its funny bc i take the path from downtown manhattan and its 1 stop away and the train station is right by my building so the only part of jersey i really know is that one block hahahaha.

we're going to be moving to Philly after the wedding but i'm not nervous. We lived in VA up until Jan. of last year so i'm used to being away from NY and family. FH's family has all somehow migrated there and luckily I like them so we'll have company. I like being outside of NY (particularly the home prices!)

i doubt it. Fh's family is here and they are pretty close I want to raise a family with grandparents nearby. but...I'm not adverse to a change. I really don't have anything keeping me here but FH so wherever he goes I'll be there.

We are moving to Suffolk from Nassau.... that sounds like a big enough move to me we don't know anyone out there but FH bought a house there... I think the whole getting to know another town and making new friends will be kinda exciting since I've lived in the same house since I've been born.
