My fh is a mortgage broker and lately he has been working like 80 hour weeks. I know he is stressed with the wedding and we want to buy a house and have a baby shortly after the wedding, but I feel like I never see him anymore (and we live together). The sad part is when he is home he is so tired or stressed out it makes it hard for us to connect with each other lately. I know he is doing it for our future but I miss him and I hate seeing him so worried all the time.
BTW, we make pretty good money, I have been teaching for 6 years and he is even in the process of buying the mortgage company he works for. I feel like the financial stress will never end.

Neither FH or I work 80 hours a week but we do have opposite schedules so we only have one full day together which are Sundays. When he leaves in the morning Im sleeping and when he gets home, Im already gone to work. Its stressful and sad at times but we make the best of the one day we have together. I know how you feel and its hectic.

FH works about 12 hours a day and we don't live together so by the time he goes home and takes a shower and stuff he gets to my house at 10pm and we put the baby to bed and he goes home... We see eachother on weekends but we usually have a million things to do with the wedding coming up. We're moving into our new house in a few weeks so we'll be able to see eachother more.

FH works 7days a week really! Finances are tight so I understand and sometimes even find myself pushing him to go to work

yes, my fh is always working and if he does get off early he invents work to do at home, he has to be working, i use to hate it. but i learned to appreciate it, i look at it like this there is nothing worse than a lazy man, so i'll keep mine who is addicted to work,

my fh works 2 jobs...and like im lucky if i see him..sundays are our days to chill usually but football consumes it now...as well as his softball league!
but totally..he works all the time...

I actually work way more hours than FH
He's the one home alone all the time, so he cooks and cleans and does my laundry

haha I think I got you guys all blown away!!
FH works from about 3:30am to about 8:30-9pm at times. But there are days when he gets to work at 6am or 7am and only works till about 5pm!
But the thing is...he is in JAPAN! FOR A WHOLE YEAR! So he left the end of June 07 and wont be home until June 08
And before he left he was stationed in San Diego so we saw eachother every 4 months probably with the lucky short visits that were maybe 3 months without seeing each other!! Our whole 3 year relationship has been him either in Maryland, San Diego or Japan!
I complain sure it ***** having the Marine Corps run his life. But hey it will all be done with in a year!!!

Fh was out of work for a while so no.. But today he starts a new job at the casino in yonkers working in the kitchen. His hours so far are from 5:30pm to 1:30am. I know I'm barely going to see him. Plus they are short staffed so he'll probably be working more than 5 days and more than his scheduled hours

My FH is in the union as a stagehand (construction worker for Broadway Shows) so when there is a show he has to be there...he doesnt get home till 11 - 12 at night...it really ***** but when we have children he will be home during the day with us...he doesnt leave for work until 4:30 so that wont be that bad...but right now i work all day and when i get home he just about left for work...So i def understand where you are coming from....
