Anyone else see the report about pharmacists not filling perscriptions for birth control pills?

Original post by heidla

It was on the Nightly news last night. Some pharmacists refusing to fill perscriptions for the pill and the morning after pill because of their religious beliefs. Just curious what you all think.

I understand having convictions, but IMO you should do your job. If it bothers you that much then I think you should find a new line of work.

In an ideal world, the person who needs to get their prescription filled would not have a problem.

And, the person who doesn't want to fill it would not have to.

So, I think that a lot of the reason why debates are never solved is because everyone is too busy trying to get people to agree with them.

Instead, why not work on a solution whereby everyone could live their lives they way they see fit.

Perhaps the first step is for everyone to be more tolerant of differing opinions.

Okay, now I have to go complain about my wedding some more...
