anyone else take the LIRR into the city?

It's so exhausting... what trains do you take?

I do!

I take it from Wantagh (and in 2 months it will be from Bay Shore - eek)

I like to take the 6:13 when possible - lately though it has been the 646 bc I keep oversleeping!

I currently drive to Westchester but in a few weeks I'll be taking the LIRR from East Williston to LIC and I'm not happy about it. I much prefer driving.

i take either the 7:24 or the 7:33 from mineola! lately it's been the 7:33, much less crowded.

I have an interesting LIRR commute.

On Mon. I take the 7:14 am train from Baldwin since FH works there. In the evening I take the train back to Ronkonkoma that get me there for 6:49pm

Once I move out there permanently I'll be taking the 6:39am from Ronkonkoma and returning on the same train that gets me there at 6:49pm.

It's more exhausting then my commute from my apt. which is 20 min. door-to-door. Though I must say cleaner and more comfortable than the subway. I genreally read or listen to my IPod and it's nice to have that time to myself.

Mrs.T in july I'll be coming in from Ronkonkoma also the 6:39am though.

I take the 6:24am out of Bay Shore.
Comming home I get the 5:36pm

I take the 6:53 out of Northport and it's rough. I'm so happy that tomorrow is Friday....our office starts summer friday's tomorrow

I take the 6:48am train from auburndale and I take the 4:46pm coming home. I used to take the 6:37am train but it was getting too crowded. I agree taking the train is exhausting and I can't stand the 'train people'

That's my train too, which one will you be taking? At least you are going to be going to LIC and not Penn so no changing at Jamaica for you! It's not a bad train, never over-crowded and always quiet

When I officially move to LI, I'll be on the 8:03am from Valley Stream. If I want to be a little early for work I'll be on the 7:45am.

I take the train to LIC...so I transfer at Jamaica. It's the 7:41am train..for some reason it goes so slow between jamaica and LIC....but it's not bad.

If you're a Citi employee you get shuttled to the building..which is great when it's freezing out.
