Fh and I are paying for most of the wedding ourselves. we went through and made a list of everything we had to pay for. i am so scared. i dont know where we are going to get this moiney from. Im not having the best of everything. Anyone else in the same boat as me? any suggestions besides robbing a bank? im thinking that might not work so well.

oh god i drive myself crazy sometimes...the worst part is i try not to tell fh when im stressed bc then he starts to stress and then he REALLy starts to worry and he gets bad which ends up stressing me out even more and driving me even more crazy lol.
OMG!!! My FH is a worry wart, too. I can't tell him most of the time when I'm worried because I'll worry about it for a day and then I'll get over it, but if I tell him, he'll start worrying about it and never stop!!!
yes exactly, ill worry and think of solutions and just try to stay positive lol but him oh god its on a different level and i just cant handle when ppl are all freaking out, i handle things differently and i just sit back like ok please relax, it tires me out lol

I am too in the same boat. Me and my fiance are going to take out a loan because we have to. I know its bad to take a loan out, but we decided that we were only getting married once and even though we have cut down on so many things we are still short of cash. We are not buying a house right away so we can pay off the loan for 2 years. I cry all the time! LOL. Fiance' goes to night school and cant pick up a second job, and I just put in applications hoping to get hired for the holidays> SO girl i KNOW How you feel!

I am very worried about the money involved but FH assures me i shouldn't worry. we will prob take a loan for at least 25% of the wedding cost. but FH will also be making alot more money soon so we'll be able to pay it off quickly...god willing.

SugaBeans, Sounds like you're already moving in the right direction by knowing exactly what expenses you'll come across. Me and FH are in a similar boat.....we're saving practically everything we're making towards the wedding - minus bills and paying off student loans.....our date nights are now renting movies from the library But, don't forget to budget for each expense...account for unexpected expenses....and count in the little things, like stamps, and tips. Most importantly, go with what you can afford....people are coming to celebrate your marriage, your love.......it'll be beautiful no matter what.

everyday i worry and calculate and recalculate...and every twist and turn i wind up spending more then i expected... the cost of weddings is not fair to us couples trying to start a life together....
