God I can't stand them. Why do they always have to win??? To me I think a team like that cubs deserved to win the world series or Florida. These are teams that havent one in years and years. But the Yankees??? come the last time they won was in 2000. So they havent won in three years boo hoo cry me a river they only won four in row before from 1996-2000. I can't root for a team like that! It's boring to see them win all the time. And I can't stand Jeter and Soriano, I feel like throwing tomatoes at my TV whenever they are up. Well this distraught Mets Fan is voting for the Florida...So lets go Marlins!!!

Yankees fan here. The Yankees were terrible for decades before now. So, they have a winning streak. What's wrong with that? If other teams deserved to win they would. It's not like the Yankees have always won, or always will, or that they cheat or are unfair. They certainly had a run for it against the Cubs this year. Besides, Florida still has a chance to win.

I agree so what that they have a winning streak.
They have stong players, whats wrong with that.
They are quick on the field, they have good pitchers, power hitters, strong coaches and in turn they do well in games.
GO YANKEES!!!!

If they have a winning streak, they deserve it. If they win, it's because they want it bad enough. If I were in a team, I'd want to win as much as possible. What team doesn't want to ALWAYS win to pay off for their hard work?
GO YANKEES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES!!!! Since I'm a Mets fan, I've hated the Yankees all my life. I went to bed after the bottom of the 9th because I knew they'd win and I couldn't stand to watch it!!!

Re: Anyone hate the Yankees as much as I do???
when I was in College, the basketball team went 33-0 for the season. They wanted it so bad to be unbeatable. They made it to the playoffs and lost in the playoffs.
It took a lot of strength and dedication to get them there and they deserved it.
Same thing with the Yankees, if you want something so bad enough you just go for it!
WOOHOO YANKEES!!!
I think they'll do a sweep. 4 games!

They win because they are telented players. I was on the edge of my seat last night watching the game. It isn't like the score is always 10-0. They were down, came back...that shows talent and determination. I find it quite entertaining.
Now the Mets.....why do they still call themselves the amazings? what's so amazing? that they can't win? I just don't get it....

Mets fan here too and though I can't stand the Yanks all year long, when the Mets are out of the running, I have to support DH's team - unfortunately. We went to the World Series a few years back when it was the Subway Series and boy did we fight all night. We agreed that we cannot watch a Subways Series game together from that point on, bc we both get very defensive and vile! Not the way a happily married (or engaged couple back then) should be! The Mets have been sucking BADLY lately though... they need to get back on track!
ETS: Let's not let THIS get ugly. Everyone has the right to like their own team for all different reasons!!!!

Re: Anyone hate the Yankees as much as I do???
The Cubs, and Red Sox had just as much opportunity to win as the Yankees and Marlins. The game was not fixed. The Yankees worked hard, just like any other team and they came out on top. Going to a world series is a privilage that the two best teams that have worked the hardest get to participate in. Obviously the Mets, Red Sox, Cubs and every other team didn't want it as bad, since they didn't win. Everybody has a chance to win at the beginning of the season, how they chosse to play is up to their team. So to all non Yankee fans- Stop being jealous and start supporting your teams so they too could possibly win one day and go to the World Series and see why the Yankees work so hard to try and get back there every year.
* Note: These are just my opinions, I am just sticking up for my Yankees!!!

I remember when the Yankees were TERRIBLE. We used to go to games all the time and the stadium was barely half full. The Yankess worked very hard for where they are today. I'm proud to be a
