PS: this is my usual daily food intake.... minus this weekends fat fest
Breakfast: Yogurt and apple or egg whites with cheese
Re: Anyone have a diet plan I can follow thats thoughtless?
Is WW online a little cheaper than the meetings?
We're weight loss twins- I lost 70 also but have gained nearly 20 back over the past year. I plan on starting WW online. My trainer suggested no carbs after 4pm- lean meat and salad basically. Healthy carbs in the AM and for lunch.
Good luck!!!

I don't really have a diet plan. I will eat what I want just in much smaller portions than I normally would!! I also eat many times throughout the day instead of alot at once and it seems to be really working for me. By working I mean I am not gaining weight, I think I actually have lost a couple of pounds in the past few weeks. I haven't exercised in a while... I get really bad bronchitis in the winter and I am battling it yet again!! Anyhow this is my typical day:
Breakfast: Granola bar or Yogurt and Green tea 2 hours later: Orange or apple 2 hours later: Salad or Half a sandwich with a handful pretzels 2 hours later: Small snack. Maybe yogurt if I didnt have it for breakfast or some more pretzels or some fruit. Dinner: Whatever I decide to cook but I have 1/3 of the portion that I would normally have.
I normally will have tea again before bed (probably why I never sleep)!
ETS: I always substituate the 'healthy version' for everything.. i.e. Whole Wheat bread instead of White etc.. I also have cut out the good Sandwich stuff like cheese and mayo.. Only get those on days when I feel like I deserve it.

Re: Anyone have a diet plan I can follow thats thoughtless?
sometimes following a very specific diet can be harder. Whenever I used to look up specific diets and having to eat exact things on certain days, I didnt stick to that.
When I lost weight, I simply just ate healthy and thats it, didnt follow a diet plan or anything like that. When it comes down to it, we all know whats healthy and what is not. Doing this I lost the most weight. I did look up alot of info about foods. Such as certain foods you should include in your diet, what are good snacks, then theres some foods that burn fat, other foods to stay away from bc they will make you hungry again soon after you eat.
Also that you should eat most of your calories for breakfast and lunch, so this way you have more time during the day to burn it off. After dinner, most of us arent doing much to burn off calories so its best to save the fatty foods for breakfast, lunch. ALso snacks in between meals will help, you will be less hungry for dinner and you wont crave fatty foods. I also wouldnt eat dinner past 8pm
Dont eat fried foods, I ate mostly grilled. Stay away from white starch, sugar and pasta, potatoes and that sort of stuff. Watch your salt intake. I would use spices to give my food flavor. I would also always use lots of garlic, onions, lemon, pepper to give food more flavor. I never used vegetable oil, if i cooked anything in oil only used olive oil. Soda is also a big thing and yes even diet soda, it usually accounts for 10 extra pounds a year so cutting that out alone will make a huge difference, of course drink lots of water. Eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks in between, of course portion control is important. The more times you eat a day the better your metabolism will work bc its like a muscle and the more you have to use it the better. For chicken or any meat, the rule is for it to be the size of your palm. If you eat salad dont use all those salad dressings bc those have so much calories and defeats the purpose.
Basically think of foods you like that are healthy and won't mind eating. If you do this then it wont be hard to stick to a diet. Dont keep any junk food in the house at all, if its not there and you get a craving this way you cant give in to it if its not there. Grilled chicken, steamed vegetables and i used to put pepper and lemon on it for flavor, tuna with no mayo i used 2 kinds of mustard instead, grilled fish is great for you. Beans in your diet is good its one of the 12 foods you should always have. Oranges for a snack is great bc it fills you up and holds you over until your next meal.

from experience and other sources:
you need to up your fruit intake. its better to have one more serving of fruits than vegetables. but not bananas.

and drinks lots of H2O!

Thank you hun! Unfortunately...thats my diet now! I can't eat white breads because my stomach is allergic, and can't have fried foods either. My diet is VERY bland and thats what stinks. I hate salad dressing and always use Lemon :) I also cant have soda/etc because of the wonderful preservatives in them... Even seltzer at times bothers my tummy
Snacks can't happen because I am a teacher so its basically breakfast lunch and then im here for workshops so when I get home I always have to eat whatever fh made lol (which is usually NOTHING bad for u because he is beyond a health freak worse than I!!!)
I have been considering seeing a nutritionist though because I don't see why it is that I'm always gaining/losing weight. Obviously this weekend I know I ate WAY too much and that weight has dropped within the last two days but its still the LAST 10 I cant get rid of...

Re: Anyone have a diet plan I can follow thats thoughtless?
Hi Jenny. It took me a while to realize this was you!!!!
The best thing I did was eat high protein. Good proteins though like egg whites, fish, nuts, peanut butter, veggies, chicken etc. Then for bread and cereal, I would have only hi fiber whole grain products. Never do I have white bread or potatos or anything like that. Of course, it is very important to drink tons of water and work out 3-4 times a week. To lose these last pounds, add about 10 minutes to your normal cardio routine. That should do the trick! Good luck! 10 lbs can be lost in a flash!

Well you are doing all the right things, so wonder why its not coming off. But you said you did lose alot of weight right, so sometimes you do hit that point where the last few pounds are very hard to lose, happens to most people.
Do you work out? for me if i eat right i do lose weight but not alot, the most results I see are when I eat right and work out.

What do you drink? You'd be surprised where extra calories sneak up on you in things like juice, creamers/coffee, whole milk cheese, etc.
1400 cals may or may not be too low, depends on your weight and height. That is low for a lot of people but for me, 5'2 and 115 lbs, that's pushing it for my daily intake.
You definitely need more protein. Try to incorporate tuna salad, grilled chicken, turkey, egg whites (you said you eat these which is good) or even a handful of nuts for a snack. Grilled fish is great- even once a week is proven to help with weight loss.
Do you have an exercise program? Your body needs muscle to burn calories and fat on it's own. FM me if you want some suggestions for some awesome home programs!

I love WW
but my two things I MUST do when doing ww which helps curve my appetitie is eat Fiber One cereal for breakfast and absolutly NO diet coke. I have to stay away from sugar and then I am very good. It takes away my cravings

You can still do WW! The points formula is everywhere online and you can create a google account, which gives you google docs and you can keep track of your food there. If you want help, I can send you my food diary with all of the formulas and everything.
I keep weight off by pretty much eating the same thing every day. That way I don't have to make food choices. I pretty much only switch up a few things occasionally (like turkey instead of chicken or 3 hard boiled eggs instead of chocolate soy milk).

Not enough food and not nearly enough protein...we need to talk girl...FM me and we can set something up...1400 calories might be a tad low for you but you are definitely not getting enough of a balance!! Love all the veggies but not enough protein!

sounds like you are doing A LOT right!
re - not eating snacks - just get some raw almonds and eat 4-6 for a snack . It's amazing how a little bit can really make a difference in hunger and calorie burn.
also - i would suggest adding protein to your lunch. . for the same amount of calories protein and high fiber makes your body burn twice as many calories to digest. ...

yeah when i saw 1400 calories I also said wow that is a bit low. And not getting all the nutrients you are supposed to. Its good to eat very healthy things but you cant go too overboard where all youre eating is salads, yogurt, fruit and just chicken. You have to add more to the diet. EVERYBODY also needs some fat in their diet
