Anyone having a 'B' list??

Original post by elp6421

FH and i are thinking about sending invites to family and really close friends first, wait for the replies to come in and then if we have room invite the B list which are friends from work and college.

What do you ladies think of this? Disaster waiting to happen or good idea?

I only have 3 people on my B list

They know they are on it too. They are distant but really fun friends. I would love to have them there but I have to see about headcount first

no b list.... i think timing wise people usually know when theyre on the b list then you also run into the problem if someones on the a list and mentions they got the invitation to someone on the b list but they dont get it until 2 or 3 weeks later seems kinda shady

I don't have a B list I have a I'm not sure I'm inviting you and probably won't decide till I send out invites. Such as co-workers bc I don't know if I will still be on the same team in October.

I'm not having one, but my friend had a B list, and actually printed out a second set of response cards with a later RSVP date so that B listers wouldn't know.

I am - I have the perfect excuse too - my grandma wouldn't give me your addresses! (the B list is like my dad's cousins, and my gma is difficult!)

We had a B, C and D list, and we are still under numbers. I would make sure you give yourself enough time with the first round of invites to send out others. We were lucky in we made our invites, so I could keep changing the RSVP date
