There was a girl who had text messaged in who was complaining about her bf buying her a 4 Carat ring from Costco! She said she would rather a 2 carat from Tiffany's....
Do you girls really care where the ring comes from? Isn't it the meaning behind it that matters?
This is one listed on their site that's 3.52 carats...

That girl sounds like a BRAT. First of all... the rings at Costco are GORGEOUS. SECONDLY - if he bought it at Costco he probably paid cash...and that is impressive when you consider the cost of a 4 carat ring! THIRD... Who would really know? Does she plan on advertising it to everyone? 'Hi... here is my engagement ring. Yeah, he got it at Costco!' And MOST IMPORTANT... I wish I could tell her: HE BOUGHT YOU A RING AND ASKED YOU TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WITH HIM BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU! GET A GRIP, GROW UP and STOP SWEATING WHERE HE GOT YOUR MONSTEROUS ROCK! I hope her FH was listening and realizes what a self important, selfish child he is marrying!

This is funny because I actually saw a special on the rings from Costco. They were comparing the diamonds there, to the diamonds at Tiffany and the experts couldn't tell!! They were saying to quality was really good. Plus, I'm sure that 4 carat ring was at least $35,000 from Costco, so she should shut the F*!& up!!

I thinik that is just selfish. Poor guy wants to get his gf a nice ring - and doesnt want to break the bank too - and his GF is more concerned over WHERE he bought it - not that he wants to spend the rest of his life tih her, put so much thought into it .....and ugh - this just makes me sick!

I didn't have z100 on this morning BUT she should be soooo happy with her ring!!!! Costco & BJ's have AMAZING diamonds and jewelry! I agree she is being a brat! I love my ring & wouldn't care where my FH got it. It is something he chose for me and wanted me to have and that means the most then WHERE he got it.

People amaze me sometimes, a diamond is a diamond the store it's purchased from does not change that!!

I guess when she's telling her friends the story they might have laughed at her, especially if she has been looking up rings from Tiffany with her friends. saying stuff like : 'my fiancee better get me a ring from Tiffany or I will not marry him' If it was me I'll just say I don't know where he got it from.
But she needs to get over it because I don't think my ring is even over two carats, but it's the most beautiful ring I have ever seen.

I can't believe the balls on people sometimes.. I wouldn't care if my ring came from a pawn shop purchase.. as long as my FH picked it out with love, that's all that matters..

The store that he bought it from doesn't own the diamond mine! Who cares who the seller is, diamonds at COSTCO are GIA certified. They come from one of the 8 diamond mines in the world.
Tiffany, Costco, zales, private jewler: they all come from the same place.

FH works in the city, so he got my ring from Tiffany. I told him NOT to go there because I knew it was going to be expensive. But needless to say I have a beautiful 1/2 carat diamond engagement ring and I wouldn't change it for anything. When he bought it, he was more concerned with the clarity and condition of the diamond rather than the size.
I cannot tell you how many people ask 'Why did he get such a small diamond?'
I don't think it matters where the ring comes from. Engagement rings are a symbol of love and the future and great things to come.

That girl is an a$$. Honestly, nobody knows where your ring comes from unless you tell them. Everyone is probably too busy ogling at her rock to even think to ask where he got it. Nobody has ever asked me WHERE FH got my ring. Who cares? And if she wants to be a materialistic bimbo, she should seriously be more concerned with everyone thinking it's a CZ b/c it's so huge as opposed to people knowing he bought it at CostCo.
