Hi there, How many of you didn't or do not plan to have programs? I am getting married at my reception site. I went to a wedding in November that didn't have them and I didn't even notice until I was planning my own wedding.

I've never seen programs for ceremonies either. I think they are a nice tough but I don't think I'm going to make them.

We were married at the hall and didn't do programs.
Honestly, of all the weddings we've been to, I can't even tell you who had them and who didn't.

I wasn't going to do them at first but then I saw someone elses (actually a bride on LIWeddings...i can't remember her name though) and thought it was such a nice touch so I wrote one up and showed it to my mom and FH and they both really liked it so we're gonna use them. I don't think its a necessity but a nice touch if you wanna do it. We're not having a full mass ceremony but I liked the idea.

I wasn't going to make programs, but my Pastor recommended it because we are having a rather unique ceremony and she thinks it would be a good idea to explain why we chose the rituals we did. No one in my family has ever done them, so I don't think anyone will notice if I don't.

We're doing them. They're not hard. And besides, since we are not getting married in a church we feel like people need to know what's going on.

I decided not to do programs....they really do not matter to me and I plan to put that money elsewhere!!!
