Just wondering about this, I don't think I really like that tradition, anyone else opted out of that, I think it's a little uncomfortable for the girl who catches the bouquet and the guy who catches the garter to do that whole thing. You know what I mean?

i'm not doing any of the 'traditional things' except for the first dance and speeches that will be made by the BM, MOH and FOB...
my FH wants the 'cake cutting', we are still in negotiations for that one...

no tossing! i've always hated getting up for those things, so i won't subject my guests to that either. LOL i was at a wedding that didn't do it, and it WAS NOT missed! (at least by me)
but i'll probably wear one.

We are not doing that tradition, nor are we having parent dances. I lost my father and his mother is wheelchair bound and can't dance. So just going to play good music and keep the dance floor moving all night. No interruptions with those things.

Me neither And I opted out of the bouquet toss too- hated being forced to participate in that. I'm giving my bouquet to my grandma instead

I am not doing it either. We are having our parents dance to their wedding songs and presenting our moms with a boo-k and our dads with a garter.
