My FH didn't want to get a video, but then he went to Wild Rose with me and he was sold. I can't wait to get married and then get to see all of the things that I missed throughout the day. Everytime someone posts about how their wedding day flew by, I know we made the right decision.

If you really don't want one, that is your decision, but I agree with Sonicstef that if you already think you might regret it, you probably will so you should look into it.

IMO opinion, it is rude to ask a quest to tape your wedding for you. One of my friends did this one and our friend (who was at the time a wedding videographer) agreed, but iknow that he wasn't thrilled about it becuase he couldn't enjoy everything along with the rest of the guests. I suggest you hire a professional or skip it altogether.

As important as photograph quality is, you REALLY should get a video, even if you only get the raw footage (which is sometimes even better)!!! You simply CAN NEVER know how much detail the video captures that photographs can't - the intonations of voice, the moment leading up to a picture, the funny statements, the crying - it is the BEST way to relive your day, no matter HOW many pictures you get. Trust me! It's TOTALLY worth it. Plus, you get to see your wedding day from a completely different angle, and it's fascinating! I used Fine Art, and NEVER even saw the video camera, honestly! But, they got everything!!! It is so amazing to watch, and I've watched it countless times since then! You will NEVER regret getting one, but you might regreat NOT getting one!!! Just my opinion, but PLEASE do it!!!
