Well, on the one hand there is the discussion about whether to stay home and on the other hand there is the issue about telling your spouse!
I had friends who had the same issue. The wife also didn;t find it necessary to tell him when SHE decided to go off the pill because SHE decided it was time to get preggo!

no im not allowed, my father said hes not my provider anymore....ahhhhh finannly out of the family buisness.....i can't wait to sit home and go shopping...![]()
i will continue working fulltime and going to school fulltime. i should start my masters in aug and finish it in 2 years, then hopefullt get job as a school counselor in NC and eventually have kids AND work. it may work out that my fi can work from home, so i will have summers off and he can work from the time i get home from work if its early enough during the school year. ~lacey

I had friends who had the same issue. The wife also didn;t find it necessary to tell him when SHE decided to go off the pill because SHE decided it was time to get preggo!
Yes I hope she has a good lawyer. I mean as much as I want kids soon, I'd never go off the pill without discussing it. If we have a child before we are mentally ready for it, guess who gets to be a single mom. No thanks - dont wanna be a statistic. People NEED to talk to their spouses.

That couple is now divorced--with kids caught in the middle!
I think that its nice to have a few day off, or maybe even a few weeks but I am the type of person that needs to do things and I think I would go crazy if I stayed home all the time.

I think my FH is going to be stay at home dad. Which is what I wanted. I'm running my own business and he is helping, but I see him being the one raising the kids, which is fine.
For now I am going back to work.. if we have the money I like to stay home maybe the first year of my baby's life.. but that is still a bit down the road..
