I work in NYC specifically the Chelsea area and there is a lot of shopping in the area. I find myself bringing bags home of stuff a few times a week. What else is there to do during lunch...the only way I am safe is if I don't leave the office. Does anyone else have this problem? I just picked up another pair of shoes....I can't stop!

OMG!
I was actually suppose to be in 3 WFC to pick up a set of keys and then I was going to stop in Krispy Kreme and surprise my co-workers. But I was running late that morning. I wound up just going straight to Wall street, made 3 phone calls and went home.
I am still mad I never got to get my krispy kreme's and I had a shirt that I wanted to return to Strawberry's

SHAMMA - ME TOOOO!!! I used to go in early and i would ALWAYS end up in Sephora buying more make-up or perfume....

Oh leave the camp kids alone my GF said she never understood the camp taking them there, what the heck is there to see?? I guess the museum, then they take them to the SSSP for lunch

Camp kids I swear there is a mixture of speed in their kool aid.

Lunch???? What's that???? We only have 30 minutes and have to scan out if we leave the buildings. Anyway, I'm usually lucky if I get to take the full 30 minutes at lunch time - today I took about 20 minutes around 1:30.
Sage!!! I used to work on 57th and 6th!! I know your pain...I was in the building with K-rock and Howard Stern (across from MacDonalds...)
as for what I would do to avoid spending money...BOOKS!! Since I was only a few blocks from the park...I would grab a bench and read...if it was too cold or raining...I would buy a thing of fries and sit in MacDonalds...
