Re: Anyone Watch DATELINE with the PRES?

I would have to say that this:
President Bush has often reminded the American public that Saddam 'tried to kill my dad,' recalling an attempt on the elder President George Bush's life in 1993. When Bush shared the news with his father, he said, he 'could sense a great deal of pride in his voice.'

brought tears to my eyes.

I can't stand him...I don't think he qualified to be president...a little rich boy that had daddy's power to get him out of things and what he wanted...

I think we look like an oligarchy at best with him as president...

We would have been much better off with McCain...IMHO

Re: Anyone Watch DATELINE with the PRES?

Edited since I read the post to quickly and didnt get it right..

I felt ASHAMED when we had clinton as president, and THANK GOD he wasnt president when all the terrible things happened to our country.. He was to busy gettin some to worry about his real job. And I for one am proud to say that president bush is our president.

And you know in IRAQ they would kill you for making such comments about sadaam. But now that president bush has taken care of that for the iraq citizens I guess we dont have to worry about that now.

IMHO

I think he avoided answering a lot of Diane's questions he kept giving her the run around. I had to switch b/c I said if you are not going to answer the darn question then just say so. I still think he is not qualified. He sounds so stupid sometimes when he answers. Its as if he believes someone is going to catch him in a lie. I don't know, something about him does not sit well with me. I will never believe anything he says. I feel he has alterior motives for the things that that he and those under him do. I would vote for Hillary before I voted for him.

I'm sorry I had to respond. I saw parts of the interview and I just couldn't watch it.

Yes, I like the interaction between him and Mrs. Bush.

But the man is a buffoon! I am so disgusted when he is speaking. He does not display an aire of confidence that a President should have. He is NOT eloquent and can't give a speech without reading the teleprompter. I am not reassured that this economy will bounce back under his direction. When he said that he inherited the recession and tried to help with tax cuts - that was it. Did he forget that there was a surplus? Where are we now? In a deficit bc he wante to 'get the man who tried to kill his daddy!' Clinton had his issues, but I was confident in his ability to lead the nation!

I am happy that they found Saddam, but where the hell is Ossama? I find it unfortunate that he will probably win the election. For a few reasons: Democrats don't have a strong enough candidate, He found Saddam, and no one will run against him.

This is JMO, I am not attacking anyone who supports Bush.

HERE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That bufoon was such an embarrassment it's awful!!! I didn't vote for him the first time, nor the second time. We got 8 years of sleep and terrorists got 8 free years of planning because of that moron!

I'd rather have Bush not being as eloquent but being dilligent with the war on terror, than knowing that our President is getting serviced in the oval office while someone is planning to kill every man woman and child in this country.

What burned me up is when she asked him on more than one occasion where are the weapons and he kept saying we are a safer country. Our boys are not safe and I don't feel any safer, stop the lying man. For once and all tell the truth, if you even know what it is anymore.

Suzanne, I do not care about a president's personal life, if what he is doing is not affecting how he is running the country more power to him. We are all humans and we all make mistakes. Not condoning what Clinton did by any means. But how did the Lewinsky thing affect his presidency???

I say the same thing. With Clinton in office it was alot of NOT INHALING and LIES!!!!

Im confident that under Bush's presidency we will find Osama as well, but im sure when we do the BUSH BASHERS (for lack of a better word) will say WELL NOW WHERE IS SO AND SO.... and on and on.

I honestly do not think President Bush is lying to the American Public, sure for security reasons there might not be things he can say but by no strech of the means does that mean he was lying.

Lying would be :I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMAN' and so on and so on. I do not care what the president does in his personal time, however Clinton lied and scandaled so much, I dont think he did any work his ENTIRE time in office.
THank god the republicans won back the office and in my honest opinion I hope it stays that way.

Re: Anyone Watch DATELINE with the PRES?

First and Foremost He was not a spoiled rich kid yes he had wealth but seriously he is holding his own. I agree with his tactics an eye for an eye. Just Because he doesnt speak well in front of othersor reads from a teleprompter that makes him not qualified? no it makes him human. I love the way he is with his family. Clinton wanted to be a Superstar not a president and technically I think it was his wife doing all his speechesexcept I DID NOT HAVE RELATIONS WITH A MONICA LEWINSKY, that was all him lol
