Anyone Watch DATELINE with the PRES?

I do not feel any safer with Bush in office. If anything I have nightmares about what type of mess he might get this country into.

I also think that Bush could care less about me. I am working middle class and I am not high on his list of priorities.

We are spending $87 billion on a war and:
1. There is no affordable housing.
2. Schools are awful
3. No weapons were found
4. I am taxed too death!!!!

I also worked near the towers and I was one of the many that had to walk past burnign buildings. I was on Brooklyn Bridge when the first building came down and that vision is forever etched in my brain, but what does Saddam have to do with that.

Where are the funds that NY should be getting to fight terrorism?

I know I am rambling, but I am finished.

Bush was not the only person that Sent our Troops into Iraq- you guys are forgetting that the Congress VOTED to send the troops to Iraq- and QUITE a few Democrats voted to send them there.

Do I believe with all of Bush's policies? No.

Do I believe the United States of America has a MORAL responsibility to defend those that cannot defend themselves..? Yes. So I'm glad Saddam is gone.

I am a definate Bush supporter but I will agree that there are a few things that he stands for or has done that I do not agree with. But I think that is true with any president. Overall I think Bush is doing well with the country. The economy is on the rise and I am in full support of the war against terrorism. Maybe if something was done in the previous administration regarded Bin Ladin or Saddam the war and 9/11 never would have taken place. Do I feel safer that Saddam is caught. No but I think it is a good start and while it will not stop all terrorism I'm sure his money being seized has put a damper in a few plans. I also think for us to feel safer it needs to come from within the country not outside of it but that's a whole other topic.

In every presidency you can make a list of things that the president did wrong and right. There is no one person that can please all americans hense the term laws.

But I will say that I would rather have a non elequent speaker in office than a president that embarrasses the country by sleeping with his intern and making it front page new all over the world. That made us laughingstocks.

As far as the Troops I love and pray for them but they chose this life there was no draft.....they knew the possibilities. While I do not agee 100% with going to war with Iraq, at least there was action. Clinton sitting around doing nothing was making me sick.

I am glad we found Hussein. But other then sending troops there Bush had nothing to do with it. From what I read we were basically lead by the nose to his hiding spot. We can't find Bin Laden and unfortunaltely, I don't think we ever will.

I'm glad Saddam is gone, too. Everyone is. And that's the facade Bush is hiding behind. The economy is on 'the rise' because people are still spending money derived from refis but with rising interest rates that can't continue. The job market is still soft, consumer confidence is still down, and rising interest rates will cut investment further. I'm not saying Bush is to blame for all of this. Actually, he probably takes too much blame for the economy because it's cyclical. However, I do blame him for pandering to the lobbyists that want to ruin our environment, overturn Roe V Wade, and of course, the rich, who have made out like bandits in the past three years. The tax cut alone for people with incomes over 1 million dollars for one year alone could finance almost the entire 87 billion dollars just allocated to the effort in Iraq. And the middle class struggles. It makes me sick.

They HATE the USA-they are united against us. what do you think that the president of the united states of america was going to reveal the inside info of the war with DIANE SAWYER?! give me a break. not to mention the fact that this moron had 12 years to comply and that was reason enough to go in - HE IS A THREAT TO OUR COUNTRY Bush is doing what he is supossed to do-protect our country. if you want to start to place blame let's start with clinton who had how many times to get bin laden??

I would like to add that an incoming President can not be held responsible for a tanking economy 3 months into his Presidency. The tanking economy was a direct result of the prior administration.

Suckie suckie in the oval office is an abomination when there are assholes running around blowing themselves up in order to kill other people. And Kennedy was NO better, just more handsome.

I better not get into this, I'll be here all day. lol.
