When you went for the first appt, did anyone go alone? My DH cant go and I said I was going to cancel, I thought it was something you both go to, not like your regular GYN appt, any opionions would be helpful thanks

For the first appointment, my DH went with me. We had to switch doctors and he also went with me to the new RE.

DH is not coming with me for the first appt. I am not sweating it at all, he has already had an SA done the rest is going to be about tests for me and what kind of approach we want to do. DH told me we can be as aggresive as I want since I am the one who has to take the meds, take the shots, carry the baby so whatever I decide is fine with him.

My DH asked if I wanted him to come for the 1st visit, and I told him he didn't have to. He already had been to the same place for his SA, and since that came back normal I didn't think they'd need him for a lot of further discussion.
The RE asked me some basic questions about DH's health and medical history, but that's it. Don't worry about going alone, they will be focusing on you during this visit!!

Question RE: SA even though we're not even TTC, I just have this feeling that when the time comes, we're going to have problems, I don't know why.
Anyway, did the RE 'prescribe' an SA for your DH? Do they do it at a clinic or something? Can anyone have it done, or do you need to have a referral?
I just feel like if I could just get a few of his little guys in there for testing, it would really put my mind at ease

I had my DH tell his primary care physician that we were TTC awhile and wanted to get this checked out, and he just gave DH a referral to the fertility clinic.
