UPDATED: Amazing how fast this post came up and now all that stressing, preping, and planning is done. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!! WISHING YOU ALL A LIFETIME OF LOVE, HAPPINESS, and HEALTH. As we start to stray from the boards I will remember how you all helped me and we were going through the same things together. Thanks! Congratulations Newlyweds!!!!!!!! I figured everyone else's month pops up why not ours... Ok ladies where are we with planning and getting things out. Please don't ask me..I am so behind. I am off work for the summer and now have no money for deposits on anything so I am waiting. I have Duet -photo & Video and that's about it...I have all these little ideas swirling in my head though. oh I am sending my STD's out late Aug.
What is everyone else up to?

I think you are fine, I sent my early because I have two set of rsvp dates and as I get 'no' responses I can send out the second set. However; it I could have afforded to send them all out in one lot I would have waited another 1 or 2 weeks to send them out.

Thanks for trying to reassure me. I considered the A and B list angle, but then decided that I am too lazy to manage the responses!
If all of the planets align, I might get my invites out this Saturday. Worst case scenario is Tuesday 2/21.

Date twin- mine aren't out yet and probably won't be sent out until the last week of February.
I wouldn't worry at all.

Hi April Girls!!!!! I got so many calls that people loved the invtes. Kinda makes all that hard work and time spent looking for pretty invites worth it. FMIL is upset. She did not get her yet is is annying me 'I guess I am not invited' 'where is ours, everyone else got theirs' OMG! I don't control the mail, but what if it got lost?? Should I resend them another one??? I feel bad that FH's mom/dad did not get it yet. Also their address is all over the invitations since that is where it would be mailed back to. What should I do?? If she does not get it should I send another out to them?????? TIA for your help.

Cara, how long ago did you mail and where does she live? Do you have extra invitaions to spare? Maybe if she is close you should hand deliver it to her.

Good News: FMIL got hers. I mailed them out Friday and she got it on Wed. Weird since her son and daugheter who live at the same address got theirs on Sat.
OK so I have a few reponses. I have off for a week in 8.5 hours. My whole week is dedicted to wedding plannig. Another Question???? Should I put my slipper basket together now or keep them in the bags fresh and put it together closer to the wedding??? I have to get rings, honeymoon, FH is going for his tux, BM gifts, meeting with the preist, meeting with the hall to finalize everything like menu and linins. I AM SO EXCITED
HOW IS EVERYONE ELSE DOING?????

I would wait till mid- march for the slipper baskets- but thats just me I always wait for last minute things like that!!!
Im doing well... Final meetingwith DJ was Weds. so thats done. Meeting with the preist to finalize things on monday the 20th. umm... Im off all week too so I will be doing little things. Just going to find my shoes for my 1st fitting on the 23rd. YAY!
we have 2 more rooms to paint then we are done with that- Next is setting up delivery dates for our dining room, bedroom, living room sets!! Its getting close girls!

What's the status of RSVPS for you guys so far?
We got back 15 of 58 invites mailed out so far. 18 people said yes, 10 said no. But most of the nos are not surprises. If I make 10 past my minimum, I'll be happy!!

Onyl 1 so far-and they said yes with a guest-so there will be at least 4 people at my wedding including us!
