Amazing how fast this post came up and now all that stressing, preping, and planning is done. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!!
WISHING YOU ALL A LIFETIME OF LOVE, HAPPINESS, and HEALTH. As we start to stray from the boards I will remember how you all helped me and we were going through the same things together. Thanks! Congratulations Newlyweds!!!!!!!!

I figured everyone else's month pops up why not ours...
Ok ladies where are we with planning and getting things out.
Please don't ask me..I am so behind. I am off work for the summer and now have no money for deposits on anything so I am waiting.
I have Duet -photo & Video and that's about it...I have all these little ideas swirling in my head though.
oh I am sending my STD's out late Aug.

What is everyone else up to?

So far I have 58 yeses and 1 no.

We are going to apply for our marriage license when I come back from Florida!!!

right now we have about 71 people coming! I set up the 2 sessions with the pastor of the church, one is on Wednesday! and Yesterday I met with the florist!!...its all coming together!! :D

What DIY projects is everyone working on now? I'm worried I'll run out of time - still have:

half of favors to do
place card sample
table names
lavendar throw

It seems like plenty of time is left but then it goes so fast!

All of you that need no responses, you can have mine.

Looks like we're going to be 30 short of our minimum. We invited 187 with a min of 125. You'd think we'd be safe. Among the normal, 4 members of our bridal party dropped out. And some are coming alone, not with their spouses. I'm beginning to hate everybody. I don't like feeling like this.

I am so sorry to hear you are going through this crap. That sounds like a lot but I guess you are going to be short. Can you invite some people from work?? 30 is a lot to make up. I am sorry about your bridal party too. How many did/do you have?? Good Luck!

Believe me, if anyone knows what you're going through, it's me!!! I literally sent out 178 invites....317 people were invited to the wedding!!! HELLOOOOO! You think we'd be able to meet our min of 175. BUT NOOOOO! We're going to be about 25-30 short ourselves.

I know how you feel. While everyone else is doing the 'no' dance, I'm PRAYING for 'yes''!

I have a meeting with my hall the monday after this, and I'm hoping that he'll work with me and possibly lower the min, or throw in some xtra stuff for us. Either way.....it completely and totally *****!

Hey, wanna come to a wedding on April 1. I've got plenty of open seats!

I feel so terrible for you guys!!! I agree with the others about maybe adding people from work, or inviting some brides. Maybe invite some people that were originally cut from the list??

We just added 3 people onto our invite list because we got back some no's from people we didn't expect. I am not too worried about making the minimum (invited 130 with a 75 minimum) but who knows??

What are the chances that 2 brides on April Fools Day would be begging for guests? We can't even help each other out. Grrrr. Let me know how your meeting goes with your hall. We're planning on going on Tuesday.

I wish you luck and us too!

We'd like to add people, but it's too late. The people would know they were late additions. We're just hoping the hall will work with us.

I've been reading the recent posts and I'm not sure what to think. I mailed my invites out about 3 weeks ago... the responses are coming in really slowly. I was starting to get a little freaked out - hoping for the no's - the hall will really not fit a lot of people! ALL of his side is OOT - so we are expecting a lot of no responses, but so far, the entire process has been sort of slow. I get like 2 a day I'd say.

We invited 181, so far we have 33 yes and 12 no and that's it. Does this seem normal or whatever? Sht - the 'thingy' says 57 days -

just for kicks, I'm sick as a dog - I don't feel ready. I have a ton of calls to make and I can't get motivated.

I already have had 4 responses on the card it reads WRONG ADDRESS. I am in a panic that it is being deivered to the wrong address I have only gotten 6 responses but other family members said they sent theirs. I am so pissed that the postman S U CKS
Well, I have had a busy week and still going..
Tomorrow alone I am..
Meeting with priest at 9:30 am to discuss final arrangements.
Dermatologist appointment. I was a clean face for the day of.
Florist: second sample Bo-K and final preps for flowers.
Sat. Meeting with reception hall to finalize menu and table linens. Go over all that BS

I'm having wedding nightmares too - its so bad. The one time my mind can shut off while I'm sleeping and it doesn't - ugh!

CTarantino - you got to see sample BKs? I didn't - should I ask to?

yes, I am developing a problem as far as looking forward to the mail every day and seeing my responses. It's sick, i tell you, sick!

April is gonna be here SO soon!


I am getting a trickle of rsvps...where are they all! we get like one a day, if we are lucky!

yeah...make sure they know, the number you give the hall can ONLY go UP....

I wish we could write that on the invites...

if you don't respond, you are considered a NO! DO NOT COME!

get this... my grandmother just called me and asked if she could invite another couple to the wedding... i responded, grandma, the response date is in TWO days.... you cant do that!! her response... cant you just take a pen and switch the date??

these are the people that I am currently dealing with!!!

i will no longer speak to grandma until after the wedding! that list of people seems to be growing...

We got a lot of responses as first but now it has really slowed down. We guaranteed 160, invited about 200, and only have 3 no's so far...84 yes. WHERE ARE THE REST?!
I do realize the have about 3 weeks left to respond but I'm still getting anxious
