Just curious- I don't think FH's parents are going to give us a dime for our gift- it will probably be some stupid gift like they gave at the Eparty.... but what about your inlaws???

haha nope. I think they're going to 'pay' for the limos. I say 'Pay' because FFIL is really good friends with the limo co owner, so I don't think he's paying much if anything. Gee thanks.
BUT, my mom's cousin offered us her timeshare to use for our HM in Aruba..we can pick out of four resorts and choose all inclusive and different things. I think we'll only have to pay the transfer fee of about $100 for that.

They told us we would have to go on our honeymoon next year if we wanted them to foot the bill. So obviously we are footing the bill ourselves.

I don't think so! FH's mom said she wanted to contribute but then when FH asked her she said no. SO who knows I highly doubt it.

My FIL's didn't pay for our HM. But they gave us a nice gift for the wedding that would have helped cover the cost of most of the HM.

Fh's parents are paying for our honeymoon as my bridal shower gift We are so lucky to have them helping us, they are also paying for our photographer, rehearsal dinner, bagpipers, and the church donation

HELL NO THEY DIDN'T! Really by rights, I think theyre supposed to or help towards it. I've heard alot of people say that their inlaws have done that... I mean, our HM costs us about $13K and I would never ever expect them to pay all of that but they could have at least gave us a couple thousand for it....I dunno. To me, they didn't help out hardly any. It was Me and My DH who paid for some things on our own, Misc expenses, the DJ, and the HM, but my parents paid for EVERYTHING else except the limo & RD in which my in-laws paid for. IDK, in my opinion, my in-laws are just cheap and could have thrown us at least $1000 towards the HM!

My awesome FFIL paid for our flights and booked us in first class and FMIL gave us money towards the wedding which is going towards lighting. They also paid for part of the e-party. I'm incredibly lucky to have such wonderful in-laws

No, they're not paying for it. They did through us our engagement dinner though, and are helping us out in many other ways with the wedding, so we're VERY grateful for that.

My FH parents helped my family with the engagement party and they mentioned doing teh rehearsal dinner. However they were like dont make it too crazy. But we have 20 people in the bridal party and at least 20 OOT guests so how do i not include everyone? Bc they originally said they were going to pay for it. I did not budget in the RD.

Nope, we paid for everything wedding related ourselves - we also never asked for help, we figured it was our wedding, not there's.
My MIL is awesome and helped a lot with running around, she was a huge part in putting together a shower for me. I was really touched by the amount of time she contributed towards our wedding

Same here.... my mom is the only one helping us with our wedding, she is paying more than 80% of the wedding cost. MIL havent even offer to help me witH ANYTHING!!! and I know we can't count with that side of the family... All of you girls that are getting FFMIL help you are very lucky!
