So, I used to be a big party girl, going out all the time, etc. Then I met FH and now my ideal night, in all honesty, is sitting on the couch w/our cats watching a movie and eating some food. I really, truly, have no desire to go 'out-out' to bars and what not. Did anyone else get lame like this? I feel guilty that I never go out w/my friends on a friday night, but the desire just isnt there. And sometimes I *do* sense a little bit of an attitude that I'd prefer to stay home most of the time. Am I alone??

I hate going out now! I would so rather sit on my couch with FH than go to a club. And not only because I feel like being with him changed my partying ways, I think its also because of working in a club. The last place I wanna be on my days off are at one!

You're definatley not alone... I definately turned into an old lady! FH hasn't though... he still goes out with his friends more than I do. Which is perfectly fine since he still spends more time with me!
I guess we've just grown up? It's just not as frun as it used to be... I'm supposed to go out to a club Saturday night with some of my bridesmaids and i'm actually dreading the hasle of going out, wow I really am getting old!

My FH & I always say we feel like an old married couple because our big night out is going out to dinner & going to blockbuster for a movie.

I know what you mean. We are sooo boring. Its a little depressing at times. My friends are all married, most w/ kids s no one hangs out anymore. Some live OOS now too.
Sometimes its nice to just sit on the couch and watch tv together or go to dinner, but I get upset that we don't do anything but that. I wish we would go out for a drink sometimes too, but he is not into it at all. I don't mean get blitzed at all. I'm talking about going to a bar and drinking 2 beers...lol
We saw my cousins in FL and they went to this really cool bar and FH didnt want to go at all. He said he was too old for bars. (he is even more boring than me

we are boring too....we like to stay home and relax with our dog. even though we live together the work week can be so hectic that if feels like we don't even see eachother or spend time together (unless you count eating and sleeping lol). so alot of times we just want to enjoy eachother on the weekend.
plus going out is expensive and we are trying to save money. i like doing cheap stuff with the girls like getting coffee lol
i have to say that we always have a good time when we go out partying and drinking but it makes me so tired! lol i can handle wild partying about once a month

FH and i are 'boring', a typical friday night consists of eating at home, walking in the park, and going to a bookstore later at night. all are free activities! i find that after the stressful work week, we just want to relax. its really hard to relate to others who can afford to spend $$ on drinks getting wasted, and restaurants every weekend. that was a fun time while it lasted, but not meant to go on forever!

i'm boring too... take-out and netflix is the norm for a friday night. I don't even stay up for SNL anymore!! FH is in the music biz, so we do get the chance to see a lot of concerts, though.

i totally got lame and boring. i was a huge party girl, basically i was a trainwreck heading nowhere... but having a good time at it lol
and then i started dating Will and now we do nothing but sit at home and eat chinese with a dvd and our cats. i love it!!

I still go out with my girls all the time to dinner and what night...Tonight is Fire Island...should be fun!
I like to go home to FH at the end of the night if he doesnt want to come out with us...but he is usually out with us...
nowadays its not crazy drinking...its more like couples and a few drinks b.c we are all either engaged or have bf's

LOL you met me you see how boring I am!!!!! I was boring before FH, now I'm even MORE boring. I was never a big club go-er to begin with. Bars ugh almost never. I'm a cheap date. One drink and i'm GONE (usually to sleep).
We're going bowling tonight which is a big coup since I rarely go out on a Friday night. I'm too tired after a long week at work. The funny thing is FH said, lets go early. It won't be crowded or loud.

I LOVE to go out dancing so i wish i did it more often. Its hard to schedule things with everyone, plus FH never wants to anymore
I would def go a little bit more often, def not partying like crazy all the time bc im too old for that and i dont want to be one of those ppl close to 30 going out every weekend, and HAVING to hit up certain spots all the time

nahhh i mean...i love seeing him but he works so much that i love getting together with the girls...family etc to go out where ever...because there would be nights that id be home alone so
i do have my nights when its strictly me and him.
but ur not lame either...relaxin and watchin a movie is the best.

yeah theres times, especially on fridays where i just can't wait to get home, see FH and order food just relaxing in bed and watching a movie and i'll sit here all day at work looking forward to it, Just like today
