So, I used to be a big party girl, going out all the time, etc. Then I met FH and now my ideal night, in all honesty, is sitting on the couch w/our cats watching a movie and eating some food. I really, truly, have no desire to go 'out-out' to bars and what not. Did anyone else get lame like this? I feel guilty that I never go out w/my friends on a friday night, but the desire just isnt there. And sometimes I *do* sense a little bit of an attitude that I'd prefer to stay home most of the time. Am I alone??

I second that! I remember when partying was an every night thing especially in the summer. But now....forget it. I had too many drinks a few weeks ago and I think I am just now ready to have one again!

i dont go out either!! FH hates the bars i used to go out mon-sat and the only reason i knew i wasnt an alcoholic was because i had sunday off!!!!!! I dont even want to go out anymore im too tired and i got sooo old! I have to say every once every three months i get an itch to go out and FH is awesome and will take me out to the bar where we end up complaining that we spent 12 dollars on 2 drinks when we could have drank a whole 12 pack at home for less!

I LOVE to go out dancing so i wish i did it more often. Its hard to schedule things with everyone, plus FH never wants to anymore
I would def go a little bit more often, def not partying like crazy all the time bc im too old for that and i dont want to be one of those ppl close to 30 going out every weekend, and HAVING to hit up certain spots all the time
did you have to mention'close to 30' LOL just kidding im old, i know but i DID enjoy my 20's!!! big time

ys thats is us. on the weekends we usually go out to eat and watch tv or maybe go to a movie. But neither of us were ever into drinking very often.

Well, FH and I don't live together yet so we are always going out places together. I'm sure when we move in we'll stay home more than we do now. I can't see us ever NOT going out to the movies, to play pool, get coffee, go to cafes or mini-golfing....we are active and need to keep busy!

We have become boring too. However its because most of our friends are either married or have gf/bf's and dont want to do the whole club/bar thing anymore. Once upon a time, I could tell you where every ladies night on long island was and what night it was there.
Our group of friends went from going out 5 nights a week to ZERO nights a week.
Overall, its money that has a lot to do with it- plus we partied so much in hs and after high school that I think we are burnt out.
Stumbling out of a bar was much more fun in my early 20's then my late 20's.

i don't go clubbing anymore and can't stand going clubbing, but i have girls night once a month when we go for dinner and drinks....and i go for drinks with my work buddies all the time. i love that i'm at the point in my life where i don't have to ask my parents for money to drink or to go out with friends so i like to take advantage of it a little.

We're basically twins - this is my exact mode of operation and yes, I do get **** for it!
