We plan on going to the cocktail hour. I think it's a good opportunity to talk to everyone. That way we can enjoy ourselves on the dance floor during the reception.

No- we're planning on joining ours- it's an extra hour to try to see EVERYONE throughout the night. We're still going to do our introduction- it just won't be 'for the first time as' Mr. & Mrs when we get announced

We are going to be taking pictures during the CH. But...the photographer said we might make it to the last 15-20 minutes...if that's the case, we will go. I don't think it will be weird to be there and then get introduced.

We are definitely going to our cocktail hour! Our wedding is a once in a lifetime event and my FH and I want to enjoy every minute of it with our family and friends! (My Mom didn't go to her cocktail hour and still regrets it to this day.) Of course, to each his/her own! Do whatever feels right for you.

FH and his groomsmen will attend, however my girls and I will stay in our bridal suite...we'll have some food in there, but I want a chance to relax in there, hangout with my grls, and keep up the hype for those that are dying to know what the gowns look like...that part sounds silly- but the older folks attending my wedding make a big deal about that...

same here. only we will be appearing half way thru. It's also nice to see how well they prepared your CH room and enjoying it yourself..

We are going to our cocktail for all of the reasons above AND because since we are spending the time picking the food/set up of the cocktail hour, we want to be there to see it and enjoy it.

we will catch the tail end of the CH... the morning will be long (getting ready, ceremony, Formal pictures) that would be a good time to break in the middle for a lil bit... we probally walk in at the tail end of it. so half and half
