are you taking time off work before the wedding day? how long was/is your leave?
i was planning on taking a week off before the wedding so i could do last-minute stuff and relax as well but my married friends told me i'll be better off working until a day or 2 days before the wedding! based from their experience, they told me that if i take a week off, my mind might start to wander and change things since i'm not working.
now i'm not so sure if i should still do the 1 week off before the day. i'm thinking of taking the 2 days off instead?
for those who got married, how many days did you take off from work? and for those who are waiting for the day, how many days are you planning to take?

I took off the week before the wedding so I can relax and do last minute stuff and I needed the time too. I was able to sleep in and stay up to finish things up so it was totally worth it and if you have the time I would recommend it.

I am taking 1/2 day Wednesday, Full day Thursday and Friday and 1 1/2 weeks after the wedding

I took off for 3 days before the wedding. I thought I was going to be crazy doing a ton of last minute stuff, but everything was pretty much done except for the programs so it was nice to have some time to relax!

im taking off the day of the rehearsal, the wedding day and 8 days for the honeymoon. my spring break from classes happen to fall on the week of the wedding so i can get the last minute stuff done then before i go to work (i work in the evenings.....)

i am taking a total of 12 days... the thurs and fri before and 2 weeks after (we have a 10 night honeymoon)

I am taking Thursday and Friday off before the wedding. Then Monday after. I will work Tues, Wed, Thurs after, then we leave for our HM on Friday and I'm off for 2 weeks!
So a total of 14 days!!!!

i'm going to take wednesday-friday off (wedding saturday) and then taking a little over 2 weeks for honeymoon... so about 3 weeks total

1/2 day wed, took thur ans friday off. after wedding took 3 and half weeks off for honey moon.

I'm taking off 3 days before, and 11 work days after. We come home from HM on Sunday, but I always like to take a buffer day between vacay and work to do laundry and stuff.

2 weeks... the day of my RD (Wednesday) will start my time off... Friday is the wedding... Monday we leave for our HM, we return the following Monday... and I'll go back to work Thursday and Friday

I got married on a Saturday so I took off the Wed, Thurs, and Fri before the wedding.
We left for our honeymoon on a Monday morning and were away for two weeks and I returned to work on the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week.
I took off a total of 14 days pre/post wedding.

I am flying into town late late Tuesday night, which I will have Wed, Thurs, Fri to get whatever i need to get done, and then married on Sat. And leave for Honeymoon Mon for 13 days

my wedding is on friday I plan on working that monday and tuesday and be off wedensday and thursday and will come back the following wedensday our Hm will be in the spring!!!

I took off 4 days before the wedding. It was just enought time to do everything I need to do including our rehersal. In total I took off 26 days but it included 8 weekend days.
