Are you telling your BM which shoes to buy?

Or are you letting them choose their own??

My BM dresses are brown and I really like the way gold shoes look with the dress. My biggest pet peeve is black shoes with a brown dress and I could just imagine one of them wearing that! If I tell them to buy gold shoes, without specifying an exact style, is that 'Bridezilla-ish'??? lol

I told them to wear any black shoe they want. Strappy, open-toe, closed-toe, peep toe, I don't care.

my girls dresses are brown too.. i told them all i don't care what shoes they wear as long as they're gold! i don't think it's bridezillaish at all!

I just told them brown dress. I let them pick the dress and i dont even care if they wear shoes or not.

But i do think it is OK if you wish for them to a certain color but i think picking the style for them too might be a little over doing it.

I just told them that I thought silver would look best with the dress, but for them to pick out ones that are most comfortable for them.

I basically did the same thing. I told them they can wear whatever shoe as long as it matches the dress. They would have to get them dyed.

I wanted them to get dyables, so I picked out 3 different shoes for them to pick from and then I paid for the dying.

No, I'm asking it to be open toe though. I think with the BM's dresses it will look nice. And white shoes too!

I am not picking out the style but I asked them to get gold strappy shoes....I didnt want to be THAT specific as I know how it S U C K S to wear uncomfortable shoes you may not like!

I told them what color. it just happen that they all ended up with the same ones. my FSIL got hers and then everyone loved them so they all got them.

I just told them to buy gold or bronze. i didn't want them wearing the same thing cus they had shorter dresses and I dont care for matchy matchy.

I let them get whatever they wanted. They are wearing apple red dresses, floor length. Some are wearing silver shoes, one got hers dyed ( I thought she was nuts! I wanted them to get shoes they'd wear again!)

After thinking back on the day, my BM's shoes were probably the most insignificant detail of the entire day. No one noticed or cared. I did tell them all to wear silver, but honestly , i think they could have worn red and it wouldnt have mattered But , i dont think its bridezilla at all to request what color they wear. I think its normal.

I asked them to get gold shoes and let them pick which they liked- my sister loves heels, but my fsil has issues with her feet and can only wear heels- so I figured this way everyone would be happy/comfortable & if they are not- they cant blame me

Yes, I picked the shoe and the color for the BM's. My MOH is picking her own.
