Are you wearing your veil in front of your face when you walk down the aisle?

i feel that it is very traditional but i never see anyone do this anymore.

just wanted everyone's opinions about it.

I went to 2 weddings last month. My cousin wore the veil over her face....my friend did not. It is a matter of prefrence. I don't believe I will wear the veil over my face. Call me crazy, but I want to see everyone and my future husband as clear as I can, when I walk down that aisle...

i was going to, but i don't understand how it attaches and doesn't mess up your hair when you pull it back. i'm also worried its going to look funny for pictures coming back down the aisle!

I did, I love the pictures of me while walking down the aisle. It meant a lot for me to do that. I've seen people who haven't and they are just as beautiful

I wasn't going to, but when I tried on my gown with the veil and my mom put it over my face I nearly cried, I was so overcome with emotion. I really *felt* like a bride. It's totally a personal choice, however.

I think you can do both if you have a shorter veil attached as well. My SIL had a cathedral length and blusher.

I am not going to have it in front of my face. I think it looks nicer when you can see the brides face as she walks down the aisle.

I bought a shorter one to wear during my reception but I forgot it in the hotel closet

So I wore the cathedral one as long as I could. I think I took it off after 2 hours or so of my reception.

I had a two tier fingertip length veil and I wore one layer over my face when I walked down the aisle and both of my parents lifted it. since my veil wasn't too long, I alos wore it for the entire reception.

haha, just kidding! but i am doing it. i'm very close to my dad and to me it symbolizes how he's now passing me on to FH. kinda special.
