Hi, I also checked out Ariana before making my decision to booked my reception hall. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the hall that my fiance and I were looking for. It really depends on what you and your fiance wants in a reception hall (service, overall ambience in and out, and etc...). Believe me, you will know if it's the 'one.' Good Luck.

Flaca - you joke about taking photos at Wendy's but I saw actual wedding photos of a bride and groom inside a McDonalds! Whatever suits you and makes you happy.
And as all the others said, you have to check out various places to see what style you are looking for. All places have their drawbacks, (yes even the very expensive ones) so you have to see what matters to you. You'll walk into a place and just know it's what you want. So, start looking and have fun - you have dozens of options.
ETA: Can I come for the Wendy's shake? I LOVE those things!!!
all halls have there 'issues' this is not freaking high school. why start drama by calling someone's hall a 'dump' i've seen the outside (never been in) but its nice on the outside. my hall is in a freaking housing development practically and i don't care. its my choice to get married there. ever hear the expression 'if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.'

Like I had mentioned, I have nothing against Wendys or IHop. I just didn't want to have my wedding pictures taken outside of the hall with a big Wendy's sign in the background. Everyone has different preferences. But, I wasn't impressed. Just my oponion, and not trying to stir up 'drama.'
For the record...it is NOT 15 feet away. They actually can give you the measurements if you want and I asked and have them on my contract! That's #1.
#2 is if you would have really looked into the hall, you would know that you can NOT see the Wendy's sign in the background!
#3...Thanks for calling the place I am having my reception a 'cheap motel'. I'll remember that the next time I comment on how beautiful you looked on your wedding day, as I did earlier. Maybe I should be a nasty person and go back and edit that and tell you something close to the hall looks like a 'cheap motel' and see how you like it.
#4 I am strongly, strongly, strongly in LOVE with my site. After all, I am NOT getting married outside at the IHOP or the Wendy's. I am going inside to a beautiful, clean hall with wonderful people and great food, along with excellent service!
In closing....it is one thing to say 'I wasn't impressed' and seriously another to say the place looked like a 'cheap motel'. I would have resepected you more if you would have just said something a bit nicer and less offensive to those of us getting married there.

Boricuamorenna....YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!! Please believe me...I drilled them very much, brought them the comments from this site and I continue to drill them and they have been nothing but nice and helpful to me! Unlike the 'cheap motel' our dearest TinaTan visited and disliked so strongly! You will not be disappointed. I am just glad that I don't let the reviews on here get to me, because I would probably have to find our critic and rip her a new one!!!
I AGREE WITH YOU 100% When we say Wendys' and IHOP, we joked with the hall about if that's where the catering is from. The place is beautiful. I can't wait for my day. MY FI and aunt fell in love with it also. I was at a wedding at a hall on L.I. and I like Ariana better.
This is one day where u want your friends and family. Ariana is the perfect place if you're on a budget. I'm not ashamed to saw where I'm getting married. It will be a very beautiful wedding as Lady Princess and Flaca's weddings will be.

I say go check it out for yourself. Lots of folks here think my place is small and cheap. Not all of us can afford or want a huge grand hall with crystal and lace. You should pick the hall that suits you. Be happy, whether it's in a backyard, beach, grand hall or hotel. Every bride should be happy on their day and not have to think about others thinking their wedding is a Cheap Hotel.

I looked at that place too when we where looking for a hall. The website made the place look really nice and I was excited to check it out!
The reception place looked nothing like the one of the website. The exterior of the hall looked like a cheap motel. It's also right next to Wendys and IHOP. When I mean next to, I mean only 15 feet away. I have nothing against these chain restaurants but, we were looking for something a little more secluded. The carpet also had a lot of cigarette holes in them and it wasn't that clean either. We were so turned off by the place and couldn't believe the amount of money they were going to charge us for the dump.
But, I say if you are just starting to look at halls to have your wedding. maybe you still want to check it out to do some comparisons.

I just gotta butt in here and say that I dont think this is nice. I usually dont contribute to drama but.....I understand its your opinion but some really good friends of mine are getting married there and I know the fact that you called the place a dump would hurt them.
And I dont see whats wrong with being next to a Wendys or an IHOP. My place is next to a Holiday Inn and a DSW. I see nothing wrong with that.
