So I'm a chronic nailbiter - inherited. I managed to grow my nails before my proposal (I knew it was coming!) but in the last month I've fallen off the wagon.
Anyone got any tips on how to stop biting them? My bpics and engagement pics are next month and I don't want chewed nails...

I unfortunately didn't see the proposal coming and then I was embarrassed to show my hands when people asked to see my ring!! Luckily, I think the ring was distracting enough to keep people from looking at my gross nails!!!

I just picked up the rejuvacote tonight. I put it on, I don't think I'm going to be able to pick this stuff off like nail polish! COOL!
If they aren't looking good by Oct 16th, I'll get one of those OPI manicures and then they will look fab for the bpics!
I'm telling you, the stuff is amazing. My nails grew SO nicely, so then I got OPI gel manicures all the time because my nails were so gorg. BUT, OPI gel is JUST like fake nails as far as damage. I learned this the hard way. After getting OPI done for about 4 months straight, my nails are AWFUL now. Just in time for my epics, of course. I'm back to rejuvacote and taking my hair/skin/nails vitamins hoping they will grow fast.

TOTALLY Agree!! I use it and its great. DONT do the gel manicures or anything other than a regular manicure. They make your nails soft regardless of what they say. Anything that you need to have peeled or filed off will weaken your nails.
Go for a manicure each week no matter how short and bitten your nails are.Once you start doing that you will get them growing in no time! I had horrible horrible bitten nails and for my weddng they were perfect!
