thanks raissa for answering my linens question. i don't think it's necessary to put the champagne toast in the menu, as it's kinda standard at all weddings. i'm just putting, appetizers, entrees and desserts. maybe a note about open bar or something...

i agree...people pretty much know about the champagne toast...
have you made these menus?? i havent even thought about doing them...ahh..another thing to dO????!!! do you have a pic???!!

don't have a pic yet of the menus as we haven't finalized our entrees, etc. (next month). but i'll be sure to post when i make 'em!

Hi gals, Im getting married in Sept. Just wondering if anyone knows if they provide direction cards.. I just ordered my invites so wanted to have direction cards soon too..

If you call/email your banquet manager they can send you their standard 'direction' information. I just asked them to send me the information and then I recreated them for my invites. Hope that helps...

i called the receptionist and she took down my address. if you live close, you can just pick them up. she's actually sending them to me through the mail since i'm in chicago. i asked for 160 and she's sending 200...

Just give them a call, they will send them to you in the mail.

They will call you about 8 weeks before to do the menu. But, I think it's always good to be on top of them (no pun intended

my wedding is in august and i tried to set up an appt to pick menus, linens, etc. they told me they will call when the wedding is 4 weeks away.

the only reason why i'm doing mine early (next week) is b/c i'll be in town and not again until the wedding... but i'm sure you can set something up if you have a tight schedule.

Did my final payment on Monday! Going to drop off my stuff on Thursdays. FYI: CHCC only accepts dropoffs on Mon-Thursdays from 10 - 8pm. No weekends dropoffs.

Menu picking was surprisingly very easy. I really like my new BM.

can you find out how much extra it costs to do the martini bar during the cocktail hour? and do they have waiters passing horsderves, i didnt see any at the last wedding i attended.. thanks!

How many of you got pasta during dinner? Because my mother is freaking out. Italian of course. I wonder if their just give it to me, if i ask. What do you guys think?
