Hey Don't get bummed. I have not been on the boards lately and I've been a slacker about writing my review. But Crest Hollow did a wonderful job. The only thing I would say is that if you want to have food boxed up, make sure you tell your Maitre D the day of. Honestly, they did a wonderful job and my guests raved about it.

I selected the Prime Rib, The Tilpia Fish and the Chicken Marsala. I tasted the Rib and the Fish. It was great!! The food was off the chain. My guests thought the cocktail hour was the dinner. Oh yeah, I forgot to say I thought the servers made a lot of noise with the dishes, but when I asked FH he didn't think so. I will try to write that review asap, but I just wanted to tell all you CHCC ladies that your heart can be at ease. CHCC did a wonderful job.

thanks raissa, i've been wondering about you

many of my guests are oot so i maybe that's why i feel the added pressure of having a 'new york wedding.'

can't wait to see pics! are you back in chicago? we should meet up after my wedding---

I go to the crest hollow tomorrow and give them my final head count and seating arrangements, i'm just upset i had to make 2 tables oval. I hope it looks good.
it will look fine...no worries...i had that too...everything was great and CHCC was my star vendor of the day ...no worries

Crest Hollow was my star vendor of the day too! Everything was perfect.
Sometimes I have to wonder about some of the reviews I read on here....I guess if I was going to a wedding at another hall I would probably pick it apart too.
Anyway...nothing to worry about.
My guests are still raving about the wedding!

hey ladies..
i just had my wedding there three weeks ago..everything was AMAZING!!! they did such a great job and CHCC made the day perfect!! the food was great and the staff work soo hard on making sure i was satisfied. i was sooo happy with everything. please dont worry about a thing...you are all in good hands!!!! enjoy the day and dont waste another minute worrying about it...it was great!! i cant wait to get pics to show you the room!!! i was in the starlight room!! :)

I'm doing okay, just been busy and for some reason I've been struggling to right my review.....

I think if most of your guests are from OOT, they will be blown away from anything you do. Guests are still raving about my wedding, and one of the things I hear the most about is about CHCC. So don't worry. The poolside cocktail hour was wonderful (or so I've been told ).

I'm coming back to NY this Friday for my sister's birthday and I'm going to Patken to get my proofs. Once I get the proofs I'll post some pictures.

Oh yeah, we should definetly link up in Chicago after your wedding. Let me know if you need anything or help doing anything (wrapping, tying bows, etc).

They make you pay at the end of the night. You can use a credit card...

for any of you girls who are having your ceremony there, are your flowers included in the price? when jeff was there he told me all the ceremony flowers were included, and now that he is gone, joe is telling me that for the $500 only the chuppah gets decorated. great to know only 3 weeks away

Yeah just the front has flowers and they put trees on the side of the pews, if your having it outside.

My BM told me that they include the flowers for the chuppah (part of the set up fee). They use white flowers. I'm actually going to have my florist do the chuppah because I do not want white flowers. If yours is the only wedding, that day, they will use your centerpiece flowers to decorate the aisle (I know that's true for the indoor chapel), if there is a wedding after yours, they will set up using the other person's flowers (unless you don't want them to... like me!)

does anyone know if they offer a sushi bar as an upgrade?? we didnt hit our minimum so we are hoping that they throw in some extras for us!

Hey ya'll I just picked up my proofs from the photographer. FH will scan them. Then I will write my review. I'm so behind. I still need to call my vendors and thank them.
