Because I am absolutely neurotic... I looked on the calendar ALL THE WAY TO 2007 and (thanks to the regularity of BC) I will be half way through my visit from Aunt Flo on my wedding day!!! So, needless to say, I'm not the happiest right now!!
Since its virtually impossible to get it a week earlier... do you girls think I should 'keep the visit' for its scheduled time or altar it so she will be visiting during the honeymoon?
Sorry to be so personal... but its a dilemma I think you girls will understand!!

I actually was on every possible BC pill there is (I ahve some cyst issues) including Seasonale... and Seasonale was terrible for me (every one is different though). I wouldn't stop bleeding!!! It doesn't really work for me...
Regarding skipping the placebo...everytime I did that it the past I still had breakthrough bleeding!! THIS STINKS!!
Damn Aunt Flo! Looks like I will have an extra visitor at my wedding!

That's because you are on the TriPhasic pill. If you start a new pack, you will get breakthrough bleeding. You have to take the 3rd week of the new pack in order to skip your period (since that was the last pill you were taking on the old pack) and you shouldn't get break through bleeding.
Honestly, I would just stop your pills after 2 weeks and get your period the week before and then you'll be golden. Besides, between now and then your cycle may vary.

I had breakthrough too, but if you do it early enough ( i did once in apr and once over the summer) you will be fine for wedding and HM

Really! Good to know, I was going to ask my dr. about it.
I am on Seasonale and I love it. My DR swears by it. She gives it to her daughter. I did have some break through for the 1st pack (90 day packs) but after that no problems. I would check with your DR (even that they all have different opinions).

I would check with your Dr. This is a very common issue. I started using the patch this year and it has been great. It is similar to the pill with three weeks of hormone, one week without. If you don't want Aunt Flow, you just put on a patch during the week that you are supposed to be patch-free. I did it all summer and never had a problem. Good luck!

You are so far off, why dont you wait until a few months before and just alter your cycle slowly? If you are concerned.
I was scheduled to have my AF during our HM, I just skipped the 4th week pills went straight to a new pack and had no problems and no sign of AF in Hawaii!
