Baby Question

I know that everyone says ...'i just wish for a happy and healthy baby'

BUT, assuming it is happy and healthy, did you or do you have have a preference...boy or girl?

Ok yes, I'll admit it - I have always said I wanted ALL boys, and especially a boy first.

If I had a crew of boys and no girls, I would be fine with that. I love little girls, I love my niece - but always feared that I'd have a daughter that was as big of a PITA as I was growing up Especiallly since my Mom used to WISH it on me!

You just know that since I've said this out loud, I will have 3 girls!!

ETA: boys are dominant on DH's side. he is one of three brothers, and amongst his brothers kids there is only one niece out of 5 nephews .. so I'm not sure how that works out for me! (but as you've said, I will welcome any child, or )

i am the same way...i don't know why.
My DH is 1 of 5 boys and 1 girl
His oldest brother has a girl
2nd oldest brother has a boy..

So who knows...

I really, really would like to have a girl. I have four little boy cousins (well, not so little anymore the twins are 16 already! then a 13 year old and a 10 year old), plus my brother's just had a boy. My family is STARVED for a girl - I was the last one!

Plus, I know everyone would just spoil her rotten

Wait a minute, Jen, didn't you just mention in a post last week that you didn't want to have any children? Are you coming around already?

i never said i didn't want children...my good friend doesn't want children

I want to 'max' out on the having kids. Im 'allowed' 4 C-sections... might as well do what Im allowed.

YES! We really want to get a house first sooo the house hunting has begun!!

I always said I wanted boys, but DH's brother has two boys and now I kind of want to have the first granddaughter.

I think it would make her 'count' a little more in the family overall, but EVERYONE in their family has boys!!

i want a girl so i can dress her all filly till she turns into a teen and probably wears either mens clothing or all black..
