That is one of the first things I thought of when he proposed also. I completely trust , but it makes me nervous. He said he doesn't even know if he wants one though. God I hope not,

Re: bachelor parties

Dont worry about it. If the best man is telling you to trust him-I would. I know FHs BM and I think he has that lil twinkle in his eye when it comes to crazy stuff...but Ive told him what is ok and what is not...and I know no matter what he wont cross that line

Go and have a good time

I'm having the same problem! The Best Man is in his brother-in-law, and not only do I have him keeping me in the dark but his sister too!

Re: bachelor parties

My DH ended up going to dinner then a strip club, when I asked if he got lots of lap dances he said he honestly just talked about me the whole time!

Don't know how true it is but I'd like to keep in my mind it is!

Re: bachelor parties

My FH and I discussed our parties. But I think thats more because of the scale of ours. Im going to New York for mine cause thats where all my family and friends are. (I live in Milwaukee) And hes going to Vegas. So its not really like were just going out for one crazy night on the town ya know?

I wouldnt worry yourself about it. Hes marrying you and im sure he would not do anything that would jeopardize that. Just get piss drunk at yours and pass out at home and then the next morning it will all be over!

Re: bachelor parties

Re: bachelor parties

I would not worry too much. You have to have faith in the man you decided to marry. Worrying is not going to cause you to do anything other than make things up in your head. If it bothers you that much then maybe your should express your worries to him and he can set your nerves to rest

Re: bachelor parties

I agree not to worry about it so much..I mean you are marrying him so you must trust him. It sounds like you have a great best man, and I am sure everything will be okay.

Have a few drinks to take the edge off...but watch out for drunk dialing!! I know when I get completely wasted that psycho part of my brain turns on and I imagine all kinds of horrific scenarios! So make sure one your BM's takes your phone, and don't let drunkeness ruin yours (or his) night!

Enjoy YOUR night!!

Re: bachelor parties

You wanna hear when my FH husband is having his? Right after our rehersal dinner. Reason being is because a few of his GM live outta town, and thats when they'll be here. Their going to see Spiderman 3, and then going for a few cocktails. We actually just had this conversation yesterday. He's not into cheesy strip joints, and he certainly doesn't want to have a hangover the day before our wedding.( Our rehersal dinner is May 4th, we're getting married on the 6th ). I trust fully in him, and his boys. Everything will be ok.

Re: bachelor parties

You just have to talk to you FH and let him know your true feelins on it. Fh and I have spoken about this severall times, we both agree no strip clubs. If either one of us had the erge to go then we would go together. (hell, thats better then FH going with a group of guys, thats chessy) We both decided one night parties, 8/25/07 me and my girls going to Hamptons, FH going to NYC. One night bachlor/bachorlette party thats enough for us.
Whatever you ladies do ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

Re: bachelor parties

I think it is totally human nature to have some jealousy in our bodies, however, he is marrying you because he loves you, and the more faith and trust you have the better you will feel. He is going to be doing the same stuff as you....going out with friends and getting drunk....The best part is you get to have him forever!!!!

Re: bachelor parties

hmv12 i agree, its one night and then you two forever.

Re: bachelor parties

This may sound cheesy, but FH and I have decided after our seperate parties, we are renting a limo, getting dressed up, going to dinner and going bar hoping. Its our together bachlor/bachorlette parties. I am more excitied about that then going with friends to be honest.
