Bachelorette party in the city

Bachelorette party in the city

For my bachelorette party, I am taking a limo with 9 girls into the city for the night. We want to do dinner and some kind of bar/club hopping after. Any suggestions as to where to go? The only suggestions I have gotten so far are awesome 80s prom and bar 13 or something like that. Do you have to dress up all 80s for the awesome 80s prom? Bc I do not want to do that, I want to dress nicely in a cute dress. I'd love to hear suggestions! TIA!

most ppl at the 80's prom seem to be dressed in 80's clothes but if you dont want to dont think you really have to.

Are you looking for something different though? if so how about 230 fifth, duvet, pink elephant, gansevoort, marquee

I loooove 80s music. If the culture club was open it would def be a no brainer that that would be where we would be going. However, obviously it is closed down. I was trying to find something close to that and awesome 80s was really the only suggestions i have gotten. If not, then I am just looking for a place to go out, drink, dance and have fun with the girls. Are any of those places good for that??? Thanks for your response!

all those places are good for going out drinking and dancing. 230 fifth has a rooftop bar with a great view, gansevoort also has rooftop. The others are good for dancing

230 fifth is no cover but be warned that drinks can be a bit expensive...you can always call these places ahead of time and try to get on the guestlist, either get comps or discounts, even if you dont end up going its fine nothing will happen but call places ahead of time to get your names on the list...pink elephant can be a pain to get into, they like to be selective at the door.

no problem and good luck...also just so you know, ALOT of clubs are in the 20's street, more like mid 20's about 26th to 29th between 10th-11th avenue...theres one next to another so you can find one you like. Just stay away from Aer its horrible lol.

I went to a club called Providence on 57th between 8th and 9th. Its a gorgeous place and we had an amazing time!

Oh and most places do have cover charges and they might make you pay unless you buy bottles. Especially the clubs on 27th street and around that area.

Re: Bachelorette party in the city

Be careful...with out being on a list of some sort some places have really long lines and waits to get in. I did my bach party in the city and made sure we got tables and stuff so we didn't have to worry about it. Just a thought
