Is/did anyone NOT have one? I have like 2 friends, I feel like it will look pathetic, and I'd rather not have one at all. I'm old anyway!! Anyone else NOT want one or not have one for any particular reason?

I think I just feel pathetic b/c I used to have a huge group of friends, however, they turned out to be b*tches, and now I have 2 girls in my BP, plus Toms sister, and then you girls... Plus, like I said, I'm feeling pathetic this week b/c I'm all alone everynight with my cats, and they dont respond when I ask them questions.

I have a VERY small group of friends. At first when all the wedding plans started coming along in full gear I felt crappy that I didn't have a larger group of friends....... but as it turned out, I realized how amazing my small group of wonderful girls really are! I would plan something fun with them for sure! I'm sure the cake would be good but a night out with the girls is most definitely better!

I think that you should go out with your two friends and have a girly day. Get your nails done, get a massage if you like that. Go get lunch somewhere after and maybe go shopping (even if you don't have money to spend, go and look). I think that you can have fun doing that too. Maybe bring them to help you choose some outfits for your HM or even a bathing suit.
If you are into it, why don't you consider a Jack and Jill BP? I know that is what I want to do and so does FH. Our friends are all mutual...I mean, at one point some of the friendships were seperate but of course after being together for a while, his friends became mine and vice versa. I think that we will have so much more fun going out in a group of 16 than two smaller groups.
I'm very lucky that FH isn't into wasting money on dirty strippers and he's happy that I feel the same way. I personally think that some people use BP's as excuses to do these dirty things that they wouldn't regularly do (note that I said SOME)....don't get caught up in trying to have a 'typical' BP...do something different and you'll have so much more fun!!!!!!!!!!

FH isnt into that stuff either, however, is best man is a dirty man wh*re. Thankfully, FH does NOT want strippers, adn they're going to AC instead to gamble. So, although FH wont be looking at dirty women, we'll probably be poorer after his Bach party!

I am definitely having one - I am past the party/frinking stage but we'll do something. When one of my best friends got married in Nov. , just the two of us went out to dinner then shopping so she could buy lingerie for her honeymoon. Ot was what she wanted.

I honestly don't want one, I HATE the bar scene and also have a very small group of close friends. I told my sister that if she is planning one we can do a spa or something like that and that's it! You can go with your girls and get a nice massage and pedicure or something, you don't have to have the typical bachelorette party.
