Do you think a band is worth the extra money?

It depends on how you and your FI feel about it. For some people, having a live band is very important, for us, it was not and a nice way to save money. It really comes down to your preference. I wanted an awesome photographer, which I got. In order to save money, we got a DJ instead of a band.

Both sets of parents really wanted us to get a band, but we didn't feel that it was worth the extra money.

I dont know I am so torn! I know the band gives it a nice touch, but DJ music is a lot of fun, and the savings are huge!

we looked at Dj's and my FI doesnt care either way.... it is basically up to me.

Personally, I think a band is more classy for a wedding but I rather hear the real artist sing. That's just my opinion which is why we decided to choose a DJ and I'm so glad we did.

Its personal preference.. me and my family arent into bands. So DJ was the only way we were going to go..

Definitely a personal preference...as long as the music is good (whether you get a DJ or a band), the crowd will dance and people will have fun!

We booked Niteflight and fell in love with them at a showcase. They are a 9 piece band and reasonably priced when you compare them to what other bands were charging. The MC also was a lot of fun. Good luck with your decision

I agree it really comes down to whatever your preference is and what your budget will allow. We preferred to have a band and could afford it so that's what we went with.

It all comes down to personal preference. For us, we prefer to hear the original artist, and we have found that every band we ever listened to is too loud.

For us, it was absolutely worth getting a band. Our guests loved our band and could not stop talking about them. Definitely check out both and see what you like better.

it's a personal decision. i found the right on band by accident and couldn't pass them up!.
when u look, try and determine what you want.
ie: elegance, fun, party, refined..
