I'm going to start registering soon and need your help on the best places to go. I don't really need a lot of things and want a very positive experience. Also, a place where you can get cash back would be a plus!
Thanks girls!

Re: Best Place to Register?
if youre looking for rewards definitely go with macys. we just registered there last week and theyre great. you get 5% back for registry purchases and then 10% back for any purchases on your macys card. They also have other great bonuses with the different companies. For ex. if you register at least 10 formal china place settings and they are all purchased you get a free serving bowl. (i sound like i work there!) BBB is also good with the 20% off coupon. its been helpful when buying off of my friends registries so thats why i did it.

Re: Best Place to Register?
The first place we registered was Bloomingdales, and it was by far our best experience. We sat down with a consultant and she explained everything to us ... not just about how the process works but also why to register for different things and the difference between brands and stainless vs. sterling flatware, etc.
We also registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and Fortunoffs, and had very nice experiences in both places.

Re: Best Place to Register?
We did Williams Sonoma and Macy's ( you get a gift card at the end - each time something off your registry is purchased, a certain % gets tacked onto a gift card which you receive in the end)
