As some of you may know FH and i were going to get married at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum and have a simple reception at a local VFW hall. After doing a lot of research we've come to realize that doing it this way with the amount of people we have (125) is just not feasible. We'd be lucky to save $3000 and the amount of stress and aggravation on us to get things done would be ridiculous. SOOOOOOOOO after speaking with my parents (we originally were going to pay for our own wedding) they agreed to help us pay for half of our wedding! I am so excited to get married in a reception hall with everything we could want and more.
So now comes the hunt. We are still on a limited budget (who isn't these days) so I'm wondering where to start. Hoping for 60 to 75 per person (less would be great) and a place that will allow me to use my own photog. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Been flying blind this whole time and I want to make sure I do this right. We are looking at Mediterranean Manor Sunday to start but don't want to settle on our first look through.
TIA

Re: Beyond Excited!
Leonard's of Great Neck gave me an amazing quote. This is for June 2010 with shrimp boat and dessert trays on each table thrown in. I'm sure without those 2 and a different quote you'd get an even better price. Check them out!

Re: Beyond Excited!
I am going to recommend two places
Sunset Harbor in Patchogue and Captain Bills (I think it is in Babylon)
Also Lombardis on the Sound may be in that price range.
Good luck.

Re: Beyond Excited!
Checking out Sunset Harbour today. Extremely excited. FH and I are thinking that we want to be on the water. We'd like to do a nautical themed wedding and this and the Riverview would fit the bill perfectly. Hoping to check out the Riverview sometime this week.
