they did not accept my bid, they went with someone who had more of a down payment than i did...it stinks... i really wanted that house.. oh well.. the price was soo right.. i looked at this other house and its like 900 square feet cape NOT dormered and they want 400K are they out of their friggin minds????????????? If i didnt hate my apt. so much i would say screw a house..

Nowadays, $400k is a good price - but NOT for a 900 sq ft HOME! My apartment is just shy of 1000 sq ft!!!

400K is a good price but 900 square feet is SMALL and not dormered is even worse and only 1 bathroon? my apartment is bigger than that... the land is not big either..

The houses we looked at were 7500 sq ft in Glen Cove and Lido Beach.....

Eke.......

My apt is bigger then 900 sq ft......

lol - sorry! A cape cod is a style of house (like a ranch, colonial, etc.)...if it isn't dormered, that means it still has the slopey ceilings on 2nd floor and no extensions. It's usually only 1 bathroom, unless you add...I have a cape, but the previous owners put a bathroom in the basement, so it upped the value (mine wasstill overpriced, but not close to 400k)

I am so sorry. The house market is hard right now. Homeowners know that if there is one offer there will be more and maybe a btter one.

thanks everyone .. this house was so perfect in everyway, but they were d!ckin us around from the start, first they accept the big then they dont then they do...it was a night mare...
