they did not accept my bid, they went with someone who had more of a down payment than i did...it stinks... i really wanted that house.. oh well.. the price was soo right.. i looked at this other house and its like 900 square feet cape NOT dormered and they want 400K are they out of their friggin minds????????????? If i didnt hate my apt. so much i would say screw a house..

Lisa Rose, if i move out further on the island my parents would faint!! LOL.. i am actually trying to get closer to them now, in case of a baby and things at least i have help cause my mom doesnt work.. and my ENTIRE family is in one town'

T 200K for a house I cant even think of 50K...I have all the books on the minimum down payments and such and all the insurance that goes with that, its just hard to save the money..

One day.. and then i will post pics like a friggin maniac!!

Well Ill ask my friends, I know there is a house for sale in Wantagh off of Bayview Ave for $419k my gf said it has a full extension and its really nice.

Suazanne - what about having a house built, I am in the process of getting a 1900 sq foot (living space) home built, with a full basement, 2 car garage, which does not add into the sq footage, with 2 1/2 baths, 3 bedrooms, LR, DR, Kitchen, GreatRoom and open foyer for about 350,000. THis is for the land and the house being built in Bohemia. The land was almost as much as the house.

And my parents house in Sayville, one town over, is a little biut smaller and on half of the land ours is on and they could get over 400,000 for their house if they sold today.
