I'm on a registry kick tonight. I've already taken care of formal china and now I'm on to casual. So, are black plates a good idea? I just remember how when I put black & white tile in the kitchen, it showed spots like crazy. My theory is that I can't cook for s$%# but everything looks better on black plates.

I like black plates. We registered for some square ones at Bloomies. We did a mix and match with white and red. So depending on the setting we want we can do black and white or black and red.
