I figure if i plan to spend $800-2000 on my shoes, i'm wearing them all night!!! But, if i can't feel my toes...i'm chaning! I'm making a slipper basket for my guests, so i can always take one of them.

I wore my high heels the ENTIRE day!!! I put them on at 1 pm and they came off when DH and I got into the limo back to the hotel at 1 am! I did change into flip flops and sweats (with my veil and tiara!) when we headed down to the hotel bar for the after party

I was surprised that I actually kept my heels on all night. I had slippers to chnage into but I didn't until the very last guest left. But how are you going to control what your guests do? Even with a slipper basket I still had some guests foing barefoot - which is my biggest pet peeve.

i did not take my shoes off! i paid too much money for them!!!!!!!
i did however, have a flip flop basket which i did not partake in.

I wasn't putting my wedding shoes in the golf course grass, so while we took pics, I changed into these. But I really really really did not want to take my shoes off.

I would love to wear my shoes all day, and since I'm having an afternoon wedding, there may be the possibility of me doing this. more likely will be me kicking off my shoes every time I sit down to eat - and yes, I plan to eat my dinner - I have terribly low blood sugar, and an italian mother who has already told me she will force me to eat that day if she has to.

I have, however, told my BMs NO FLIP FLOPS. I do not need to see flip flops in the wedding pictures.

I absolutely WILL NOT be having slippers, flip flops or sneakers!

If I'm buying expensive shoes, they're staying on my feet ALL NIGHT!

HA! I DID THIS!!!

I wore the blue manolo's from sex and the city.... and I kept them on the ENTIRE night!! even after the wedding was over!!

I'll tell ya though... my feet were numb!!! and I didn't feel my toes for the 1st 2 days of my HM!! haha!! But I sure left them on!!

And when we took pics in dirt or grass... I stood on my tippy toes so my heals never touched the dirt!! It wasn't easy and sure was painful... but I also wasn't ruining those bad boys!!

Seriously...my shoes were WAAAAY too cute to get the heel dirty.......but as soon I went back into the room....my heels were right back on my feet. I don't think anyone except our photographer and videographer saw them.

im just curious why you need to take a stand against this... its completely option and a personal preference... its like taking a stand against any other aspect of a wedding... lol
